"The Woodfield Farm is located in Balby We’ve got something for absolutely everyone at Farmhouse Inns, whether that’s our freshly prepared carvery, comforting, much-loved classics, great-value breakfasts or dedicated menu for kids – it’s all guaranteed to please. Not to mention our huge, hand-decorated cakes and unrivalled baked puddings. We’re as big on quality as we are with our portions, which is why we slow-roast our meats for 14-hours, freshly prepare our veg, create fluffy, handmade Yorkies, ruffle-up our perfectly crispy roast potatoes, and bake and hand-decorate our giant cakes in our kitchen every day. So, you know you’re always getting a generous plate of proper food when you visit us at Woodfield Farm"

Tasty carvery with a good selection of vegetables, all nice and hot. Good choice of dessert with the option to take away. Staff friendly and helpful, Rebecca was great, nothing too much trouble
Visited for meal with friends. Great prices and lovely friendly service. Amazing portion sizes especially on desserts. Loads of parking, seperate family dining area with entertainment/playarea for the little ones and separate toilets for the family area so children are contained and dont have to walk past & disturb other diners. Booking available and advisable if dining as large group.
Place is nice and cosy. Food was delicious. Served with a smile and great attitude.
Visited at lunch time on 18.12.22. Ordered Hunters chicken. My 2 guests had carvery. My meal had plenty on it, but it was 'just' warm. Gravy was warmer. My guests meal, carvery, was not much better. Sprouts were like 'bullets', all not cooked enough. Will not visit again, sorry. Staff were brilliant.
8 of us booked a table for a birthday outing. Got seated no problem. We'd already decided on carvery and even at 7.30 there was still plenty available. I personally settled for beef and turkey. But there was also gammon available. No garden peas though, only mushy But that's me being picky. Also drinks and takeout desserts to be had. Every member of staff was really friendly with us. Think some also enjoyed seeing the huskies after. More then happy to return and recommend to others
The staff were so friendly and helpful and happy! The food was very good. I had large fish and chips but wished I'd had regular as I couldn't eat it all! 2 of my party had the carvery bap which included sooo much veg. It was such good value for money. The cakes looked delicious but we were too full to try them- I'll definitely be back to sample the cakes. Highly recommend here.
Festive Fayre I Took my elderly parents yesterday our first time lovely setting on a round table next to the Christmas tree. Great Crackers with some good jokes and novelty gifts. Also nice to see red table cloths and napkins and decorations in the pub. Great choice of food nice and hot. Brussels needed cooking a little longer along with the Broccoli but on the whole really nice all the meat was perfectly cooked. Puddings enormous but delicious not all available in the cabinet but still a great choice and Xmas pudding. Most of the staff were very pleasant Pam was very attentive and really helpful. Lady at the bar was a little glum in the Xmas jumper even the chef told her to cheer up after all it is Xmas and it wasn't busy due to the football final and I do appreciate we can't always be happy as I have worked in retail for many years. I did take my four year old round to the children's area but most things were not switched on at 5pm. I kept her entertained with my colouring book and felt tips just would have been nice to have had a colour in placemat Xmas themed just a small suggestion going forward as there were a few tables with children. Overall a pleasant evening we will be back
We had carvery today. It was absolutely delicious. Everything cooked to perfection and wide choice of vegetables to choose from. Just want to say a massive thank you to Jackie, she is such a wonderful lady, bubbly, kind and so well mannered. Made the experience amazing.
I booked a table and carvery dinner to celebrate our anniversary, an was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic choice of veg selection available. The lady chef Hayley who served us went over and above to help us with our choices and was very polite. Staff members at the bar were also very helpful. A lady named Kayleigh served us at the bar she was lovely. Will recommend the carvery 100%!! Best meal out I’ve had in a long time
Came here for my Father In Law's 75th Birthday dinner. Warm, welcoming and an inviting atmosphere. All staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The only recommendation I'd make is garden peas, not mushy & mustard for beef, not horseradish...although it was a nice change!
