Just received an email saying my parcel as been pick up fir delivery. I also ask for next day delivery.I'm in Glasgow an hoping it b here todaysunday not tomorrow. I'm n all day. Please don't put in a calling card n I need 2 collect it myself....so weres the tracking update details. I hate ROYAL MAIL
Had a card posted through front door stating that a package had been returned to local sorting office brockley. Went on 3 occasions to pick up package and it could not be found. Was told to but in claim via customer services. Service totally unacceptable
Haven't had any post for over a fortnight now, and we are still awaiting delivery of multiple items that were ordered as Christmas presents, that we had to replace with vouchers at the last minute. Christmas cards posted by family members in the same post box at the same time arrived over a week apart. I've taken to avoiding buying from anywhere that uses Royal Mail for delivery if possible - which sadly usually ends up meaning more money for Amazon. The only times I've had to go here to collect in person have been because, despite being in, the delivery person couldn't even be bothered to knock or ring the bell - you stay home to wait for something important, and get a slip of paper through the door saying they're "sorry" they "missed you" when in reality they didn't try. A ridiculous state of affairs.
Dave & the tall man sorry can't remember name are both very friendly, helpful and love a bit of banter. I enjoy going here with my pre-paid post for a chat as much as for the service. Keep up the good work. Politeness & good manners are sadly rare these days but not here !
Not exactly a place you choose to go to For me it's the only Royal Mail institution that is enjoyable. Staff is friendly. Id like to point out, that Royal Mail is often disappointing. I had deliveries signed for that never arrived. This happened multiple times and is absolutely unacceptable. When I pay for a merchandise, it is reported delivered and never got here, I got nothing against the vendor and loose money. Furthermore as a receiver I cannot make an inquiry about my goods. Only the sender can do. It is absolutely necessary that Royal Mail and others are adopting their services to the status quo of internet shopping! That is an ethical, economical and financial requirement! Thank you
It's very quite and has long opening hours.
All I can say about this visit to the sorting office is they found my parcel after they couldn't locate it the first I went to get it. Thanks
