I visited as my daughter had a picture in an art exhibition. I loved the Barge house and it's repurposing as an art studio.
What a cracking space and a fabulous venue for the Art K exhibition. A fabulous location too.
We went for the Holy Art Festival. The venue space is great, although if it had a lift it would be great to navigate. The entrance is easy to find and we felt overall it was well run. The space is centrally located and in a beautiful location, so well located for art that I feel it’s proximity to Tate Modern only helps this event space even more. I’d recommend visiting any event here if you get the opportunity.
The whole warehouse first photo was full of paintings from unknown artists. No lifts and dodgy staircases gave it a gritty feeling which felt right somehow.
Perfect venue for the immersion shifting landscape exhibition. Installation worked well in the space. Would be a great place have rave parties;
We went for an art-K exhibition event. Got down at Southwark tube station and walked for 10 min following the directions to the OXO building. The entrance faces the Costa Cafe shop. As you enter there was someone to let us know about the event in the building. There were map boards on each floor to know where/what. Unisex toilets on the first floor. 3 floors in total. An old building with spacious rooms.
A lovely old building left derelict looking. Art exhibitions, dance performances are perfect there.
Was here as exhibiting my work in the OXO tower for The London Photo Show 2019. Great location, awesome building in it's own right.
Nice location, large spaces with possibilities for a wide range of artistic performances. However, in my opinion, the building needs a very serious renovation. I have a feeling that the building is going to collapse. It needs better lighting and the walls to be plastered, the disabled lift was not working. I have the feeling that rents are simply taken, but not much is invested in the building.
Clever find by the Kingston School of Art. Useful public exhibition space. Great walk to it in the sunshine.
