Was told to wait 15 mins at 3am for a taxi. Waited and waited. Nothing turned up, tried to call back and they keep declining my call. DO NOT USE.
So incompetent that they sat around the corner from the agreed pick up point, then refused to acknowledge that they were at the wrong pickup point despite it being a well known local pub. By the time they cancelled the booking I was already on the bus that I hoped to avoid waiting 25 minutes in the rain for by getting a taxi.
Really shame on you in the royal cars.i booked taxi of last day but they didn’t send taxi on time and driver didn't find easy address after 1 hour late .I lost my appointment. Really disappointed with them. They didn’t respond call .awful taxi company in leeds.
I had very bad experience with royal cars. I missed my daughter's medical appointment because of theirs non professional and careless attitude. I booked taxi approx 90 mins before the appointment. Upon chasing they were kept lying to me taxi is going to be there surely. I called them thrice and explained the urgency. Just two mins before the appointment they sent me the cancellation text message. I kept calling them but they didn't respond. I do have all call recordings. I will raise the complain against this pathetic behaviour of staff.
In the centre of leeds for a gig, could not get an Uber for love nor money. Searched around for taxi’s, managed to get one from royal cars. Was quick and similar price to that of an Uber. Driver was very friendly, first time I’ve used them but would use them again.
Terrible, car didn't show up- I booked half an hour in advance, plenty of time. When called to ask about the taxi, the operator was the rudest person. Actually said to me "it's not my problem and now there is a 20min wait" surprisingly I booked with another company. I work around Leeds a lot so would have used them a lot for clients but couldn't risk how rude the company is. Terrible, don't even deserve the 1 star.
Approached the taxi and he told me to ring a number to book. I didn't ring straight away so he shouted at me out his window. Should have walked away then but booked him and he was very rude and obnoxious. There wasn't a metre and it turned out to be stupidly expensive. Charged us about £21 so gave him £25 and he didn't give us any change! Didn't want to tip you mate! Should have used Uber.
Worst taxi service I have ever used. Used the service for nearly 2 months. Got a taxi to and from work on a daily basis and I can count the amount of times it came on time on one hand. The operators are about as useful as a pair of glasses on a blind man. Tells you 2 minutes so you don’t cancel when he knows you will be waiting for 20+ minutes. Only one driver any good who drives a white passet. DO NOT USE. Would rather crawl home then use this dog arse taxi company again. Harry
Can I give this 0 stars? I was ripped off - charged £15 for a £6.20 fare that I have receipt and bank statement evidence for. Despite confronting the company with this information, no action has been taken and i am £8.80 out of pocket as a student that is a lot and I would never book a taxi with this firm again. If you want to hold onto your money, I recommend never booking with Royal, you never know, your bank account may be wiped by the following day.
Ordered at 7:52, Operator said 10 minutes. 8:03, nothing, so I call, he said 3 minutes, at 8:11 I got a text saying the taxi was dispatched. Then proceeded to take another 13 minutes. Taxi drivers are fine. operator is terrible, unprofessional, started not to answer my calls because of my constant calls due to the extreme lateness of said taxi
