If I could give negative stars I would. We rang for the first ever time and actually had a tirade of abuse, the man who answered the phone refused to accept that we weren't some customers who had rang from the same address earlier. Three of us tried calmly to explain to him that it is a block of flats and many people live here just to be met with yelling, loud enough that it could be heard from another room. I will be complaining to the management and the authorities about the way we have been spoken to. If you think for a second about ringing this company I would recommend you walk 200 miles on barbed wire first.
AWFUL. Felt very unsafe, the taxi driver demanded our money as soon as we got in, so we said we would give it to him once we arrived. Then two minutes into the journey the driver demanded it again and pulled over on the main road, but much more angry and forceful. He said "you'd pay for a bus upfront so why not a taxi". We paid him the exact amount once we got to our destination. We felt very unsafe as a group of 19 year old girls. Will not use again, was double the amount of a reliable Amber Taxi.
I've used them quite regular and to begin with I would recommend them but the last couple of times have left me disappointed. Overcharged two weeks ago and lied to this evening. Told it would be 15-20 minutes, fine, waited 30 mins and called back, told 3-5 mins, fair enough... Only to be still waiting an hour after the first call. I'm done with you lot now, I'm a good fare and you couldn't/wouldn't deliver. Bad show!!
Often a lot longer than they state they will be and after not turning up at all last night after saying 5/10mins I have deleted n will never use the Highways number again am literally a few mins drive away also which makes it worse, not a popular taxi rank with only themselves to blame!
Always quick and often cheaper than other companies. Never had a bad experience and use them weekly.
Car , driver....everything smelly. they over charge as they don't have meter and when i try to complaint in the base ..owner was rely rude. Never recommend anyone worst service!
I dint joke of a service 20-30mins n am 0.3 mile away from rank
Do not book they will not turn up
Great place for a break
