I have given this review 3 stars. This is only because of the price. The ease of booking, the correspondence and the punctuality and attitude of the drivers... faultless. I have confirmed that the price of £19.40 to the venue and £10.00 to return same journey is correct. . Difference being our start point was out of their normal area! Had I known...would have used a more local firm! You live and learn. Thankyou to Chloe for quickly clarifying.
Disappointing that the advance booking for a pick up from Leeds & Bradford Airport didn't arrive at the point where we were dropped off a week earlier. Lots of other taxis arrived there but we were hanging about for 40 minutes in the early hours before the 2nd taxi found us. Need better instructions from Veevu regarding pick up points at such a busy location

Terrible unreliable service. I thought when they changed from Amber they might improve but unfortunately still terrible. I booked a day in advance and they are still 20 mins late! No message to say that they would be late. Now I will be late for work! Will never use again! Awful. If I could award less than one star I would. Don’t use!
They offer same price for schedule unlike uber that charges more. Tho Amber cars isn't as reliable as uber. There has been multiple times the driver didn't come took too long, or driving too slow to pick up destination. Today I come to work and the driver asked me for directions. Shouldn't he know them? It happened this one time tho. There's no rating driver feature which i think could help with selecting good drivers.
I'm just giving 2 stars, not for the car I took, is for the general service, is not possible a car is coming ro pick me up, and one minute before he cancelled the service and I had to wait again for 5 minutes more and there aren't any place where I can make any complain, because the taxi drivers can do anything they want to do... is not fair for the costumer. The next taxi driver pick me up, and drop off, was excelent.
Ordered a taxi for my disabled son as I do every morning, it said 12 minute wait, 40 minutes later still no taxi so I called them, I was reassured that it would only be amofher 10 minutes. 30 minutes later still no taxi, called them again asked them why I was lied to, they couldn't give me an answer just told me they were delayed. It's not been almost 2 hours since I booked the taxi and it's still not here, I can't cancel the taxi as its to get my son to school, he's now got to go in at least an hour late. Absolutely disgusting service for regular customers
Just did a return trip from Leeds to Manchester to see Eric Clapton in concert at the new Co-op live arena. Although it’s a new arena with difficult logistics both drivers made both trips effortless. The drivers were immaculately presented and both vehicles were spotlessly clean. Well done to all the team and thank you.
I had a really bad experience with Amber cars and would not recommend it. I booked IN ADVANCE a taxi and asked them at what time it would be best to pick me up so that I don’t miss my train. Everything was settled until the day when my taxi showed up 20min late. I missed my train no refund, I had to pay one at the train station so it cost me lots of money. Moreover, the taxi driver had the audacity to tell me that I will be having a “terrible journey ahead of me” when it’s basically his fault for not picking me up on time. He made me pay 30£ even though I missed my train and basically failed the only reason why I booked a taxi in the first place. I should have taken the bus. Don’t accept in-advance journeys if you cannot meet the customer requirements. It is simply honesty.
Wouldn’t even put one star after this morning. Lost our emergency appointment at vets for my dog because drivers cannot read notes! I clearly stated that they would need to take a small dog and was even booked to the vets itself so they would have seen the location which should have prompted them to read the bloody notes! I now have to travel to the other end of Leeds to another surgery in Morley as a result which will cost me 4 x as much each way more on top of an emergency vet bill. Thanks a bunch guys!
