Terrible, just terrible. It took ages just to type our order into the till, 2 bowls of soup came before we finished ordering. The other half an hour later in a dirty bowl with no bread. Incompetent serving and kitchen staff. Avoid at all costs.food was cheap, low quality and uncared for by the kitchen staff.

We booked the upstairs function room for my husband's birthday party. It's a fabulous space and the staff were really friendly and efficient. Can highly recommend The Riverbank as a party venue.

Wouldn't recommend this place. They had an outside grill today, and we thought it would be quick to get a burger. You had to pay and get a chit inside where it was chaotic and slow. Outside you had to take the chit to the 'chefs ' at the grill. Another very long wait. Burger ok when it came but not really worth the wait. What was really worrying was that the 'chef' was handling raw chicken then the cooked burger, and when told of the risk just looked blank. We're waiting for the salmonella.

Really long wait for overpriced and really poor, poor quality food. Wouldn't recommend and definitely won't be coming back.

Besides the table being dirty, ( the staff being free at that time) the service we got was poor. The staff was being a bit rude as well when I tried finding out more about certain ingredients in my order. The lady who bought us the foos was unsure which order was which, and didn t bring any napkins either. The food was ok ish, range is still poor and absolutely no vegan friendly.
