Story

Nestled amongst the boutique shops and tourist attractions of Stratford Upon Avon, we are the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life or grab a light bite whilst on the move.

Our traditional pub building has been stylishly refurbished making it the ideal place to find a cosy corner and take time out whilst enjoying some of our Chefs seasonal dishes and our great selection of wines, ales and lagers.

Inside you will find roaring log fires, comfy armchairs to while away the afternoon and an open bar with a unique dining room.

One of the nicest places I have eaten all year. More specifically the menu is large and imaginative. The service was excellent although it was a slow day. The atmosphere was great with a real fire and plenty of space. The food when it came was exquisite and presented well, certainly decent value for money. Plenty of interesting ales. Get the baked Camembert starter for the love of all that is good!

Nice comfy pub near Waterside. Pleasant devote with fresh flowers on the tables, candles and a real log fire helping the atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer vegan fare as well as their more traditional menu items. Seating area available outside on the path overlooking the park and canal basin looks like it would be nice in the warmer weather.

Lovely meal and pleasant atmosphere. Birthday meal out with "friends" and we were lucky enough to have a secluded room in the restaurant (clearly a room for conferences given there is a projector screen on one wall). Moody lighting and soft music added created a nice ambience. The food was really good, I'd happily visit again

Just had the "bottomless brunch" at The Encore. Excellent! Our waitress, Jemma, was very attentive and ensured we never ran out of prosecco or were left waiting. Thank you! Food was great, one of the best burgers I have in a long time. I can't recommend this place enough if you wanted to whittle away a couple of hours with "free" booze and good food! We'll plan our next trip here to incorporate The Encore!

Love a Sunday roast there. Great food and service and equally good is the sister Saxon Mill for a historic atmosphere and views
