From the outside, it looks great, but it was packed inside with no clean tables and very few staff. We did eventually get a table after we cleaned it ourselves. The staff were friendly, and my beer was cold. It's another Wetherspoons of my list to so I left smiling.Rear outside area with not a lot of street parking, and the few spaces there were had a limit of 1 hour.
We had a really good meal here , the only problem we had , was with one of the bar members, when asked about a pricing problem, ie we were over chargednShe just wasn’t interestednOtherwise a nice pubnThey could just have bar staff who when presented with a problem, they are able to deal with it in a professional manor
It was ok. I went there for lunch. We couldn’t order with the app, and it was a nice and sunny day out, we have to queue for a bit. There was lots of people. The children enjoyed their meals.
I'm from Walsall but come to Stratford often, this place I'm sittin in now is a DISGRACE!!! Literally every table that is not bein used is covered in spillage, used plates, glasses and coffee cups......BONE IDLE STAFF!!!!!
Whilst staying at Delta Marriott Hotel, Warwick for a G N Holidays Motown weekend, visited Stratford upon Avon.nWhilst there called in the local Wetherspoons, The Golden Bee. Today, Saturday 16th March, it was packed, hard to even find a table. As Barry and I had both had a hearty breakfast at the Delta and were due a three course meal in the evening, we only wanted a drink. At the hotel a mediocre Chardonnay, large, was £8.50 and a pint of Madri £6, total £14.50. A captive audience you might say. I hate to feel I have been ripped off. A Diet Coke, a medium Chardonnay and a pint of Doombar came to £7.20p in Wetherspoons. What a difference. You cannot beat Wetherspoons for value for money. Lost one star for dirty table and furnishings very tired.
