Food tasted really good, and at a very reasonable price, lots to choose from on the menu you are spoilt for choice. We sat upstairs near the window looking at the river. Great food and good views.
Came in on Friday 11th December. I had a wonderful dinner with my Family greeted warmly by the duty manager and he took the time to explain what he called the pub safe promise and the government tier restriction. Felt very safe. Had a great meal. Id like to thank the team especially as i have had bad experiences recently.
A lovely position overlooking Southampton water, the food and service was very good. Handy parking very nearby. Friendly atmosphere.

We really enjoyed a delicious Sunday Roast yesterday all served safely to COVID-19 regulations. Well done and thank you to the Rising Sun team.
Hats off to the Management and team at the Rising Sun for creating a Covid 19 safe pub, whilst still keeping a friendly atmosphere. Excellent table service, the young lady was helpful and friendly making sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Cheers all
