Very informative and plenty of activities for children. Combining this with Henry experience via the city wall is a great day out for very good value.

Be warned this attraction is not easy to access. It is located in the Monk Bar gatehouse. Once you climb the stairs you can choose to turn left and walk the city walls for free, or turn right to enter the museum. The museum details the life of the last king of the Plantagenet dynasty. My favourite part was the description of the Battle of Towton, the bloodiest battle in English history that is tragically, barely remembered.

If you love the history in the war of the roses then this place is for you. Great value for money (£5 for this and Henry vii experience together) and a lot of detail including an interesting 30 min video on the battle of towton!

This was a mediocre experience for two exhibits, Richard III and Henry VII. The staff were genuinely helpful and cheery. The venues were cramped and sparsely done. I suggest it would be better to move the exhibition to a larger venue and perhaps attempt to retire the gatehouses to a semblance what they looked like during the reigns of the Richard III and Henry VII. Perhaps actors dressed in period costumes could guide adults (no children under age 12) on a short tour. £4.95 per adult for both exhibits.
