I have to ring regularly for a very elderly mother and my self. Calling at 8am continuously until 10am Registered online but only one go available.None of the senior gp available. Call back times were agreed previously but now they refuse to it. Had a call back when in toilet so it rang out and no further call back. My elderly mother is house bound so we tryed to get her registered online. She does not driving license and the passport expired some years ago. So she cannot be registered. The new system has failed to address such issues. Made attempts to see the practice manager but the reception staff said they did not have anyone. After further discussions managed to convince. I was told that you have to write a letter with details of the issues. So I questioned accessibility RIGHTS legally and what if cannot write or don't have a compulsory. The telephone and call back are a nightmare. I generally have to sit and keep dialing for over 2 hours. Not sure if the out sourcing of the appointment service was ever reviewed as we led to beloved. Currently the practice is zero stars. Systems are changed without sharing with the patients. I hope and wish somebody does reads this post and responses. Please address these serious issues. You are not PROVIDING a good service and the basic needs. Thank you

The staff are as helpful as they can be but the system in place is just awful and totally ridiculous. You can never get through to someone to ask for an appointment, when you do get through to a receptionist you then have to wait for a doctor to call you back to say if you need anything appointment or not. Then there are usually no appointments left and you have to wait for days. So what is the point in this system, it's better to just phone and make an appointment for one day that week , it's no different just a lot more simple.

Got seen here after calling my GP at Oakham surgery for a telephone consultation. I was called back as promised but missed the call as it came 90 minutes early. This was sorted out easily when I told the very supportive lady that the call was early so she found the booked time slot and transferred me to a doctor. I knew I would need a face to face for an assessment and having discussed my concerns, the Dr agreed and gave me the option of coming here or waiting til next week to go to my own GP. A slot was available at 9am today so thank you. Pleasant reception staff and a very useful service. There needs to be more of these places, if the government is serious about providing some hospital level care closer to home.

I am writing as a Dr on behalf of my patient who itried for over 3 hours to refer to Gp and discuss about reviewing this patient and the phone has been busy for over 4 hours , unable to reach anybody . My question is how do your patients make contact with the GP or the practice if they are unable to get through the phone. Absolutely unacceptable.

I have been calling the surgery from 0830 until 1030 for the past two days to try and get an appointment and it is constantly engaged. I tried 348 times yesterday and today stands at 281 and counting. Absolutely pathetic. This new telephone appointment system is ridiculous. When you eventually do get through at around midday, surprisingly there are no appointments and you have to start the same process the next morning.
