Nice central car park for Grasmere. It is a little pricy for longer stays but not too bad - 8.80 for 10 hours at the time of writing. There are 2 EV charging bays and both were functioning when we visited.

Nice car park close to nearby attractions. Might get busy in peak times. Can pay by card and cash too.

It's a handy car park near to the start of Ambleside Trails in Grasmere, but I would think it fills up very quickly during the season despite being quite expensive.  The main problem is that the pay and display machine doesn't seem to take coins.  You can use a debit card or the online paybyphone app.   There is very little signage.  It must be very frustrating for some drivers who arrive to find they can't use coins.

This car park is well located. However the ticket machine is out of order so you have to pay via a website which is quite tricky and takes ages to load. The signal isnt great in the area. The ticket prices listed are wrong so it’s even more expensive than the listed prices!
