As an 82 year old, I found the payment system extremely difficult and confusing. On arrival, I inserted my debit card by mistake into the machine and tried ringing the tel. number but, as usual, nobody was in the office. After 30 mins. a chap arrived and returned my card. On returning c. 2 hours later, I tried to leave the car park but was unable to pay the £6.20 parking charge and more calls were made over next 30 mins. Eventually. I was released from `prison` but still unsure whether I paid the parking fee ? My friend in another car also had difficulties in exiting the same car park at the same time. Other `younger` users also complained about the system and lack of any staff in the office. If I still owe the £6.20 happy to pay it, despite the confusion, but not sure how to pay, so will try again to contact them....with low expectations !

Parked here last night, waited for ages at the barrier for a ticket to come out, no ticket issued. Even went back to the machine on foot to try and get one, again nothing issued. No answer on the help button either. With no way out, we had to dangerously drive back through the open entrance barrier on exit. Such a shame as this could be a great car park serving the people of Sale, but it just seems so poorly maintained.

Omg so so thankful to this lovely lovely man OJOnI had lost my mums favourite scarf and had no idea where it was. I don't normally work at sale waterside but I was asked to work over Christmas as I'm a social worker for family placements/fosteringnAnyway my mum died 2 yrs ago Christmas eve and this her favourite scarf so I was very upset. I even wore it to her funeralnI contacted and asked everyone I could at sale waterside and thought I'd send an email to cctv email at the car park I wasn't holding any hopenWhen OJO rang me yesterday to me he had my scarf I went to collect and thanked him so muchnIt means everything to menWe need more people like this man in the world.nThank you so muchnI'm so grateful

We were recently stuck for over an hour late at night in a queue after an event at the Waterside Theatre. Despite the company saying it provides a 24/7 service this clearly isn't the case. Having paid the extortionate parking fee,  due to the company's incompetence, our party, which included a severely disabled friend, was forced to endure an extremely uncomfortable delay.nHaving written to Customer services I haven't had so much as an acknowledgment back. Given major fires that have occurred in recent times at Luton and Liverpool multi storeys this just isn't good enough. Next stop......Watchdog and the authorities.

Avoid this car park! We pressed every button there was to press but still couldn't get the barrier to lift. The entry machine declined all our bank cards and therefore we had to press the HELP phone button. The barrier still didn't lift so another driver behind us had to get out and press a few buttons and lo and behold a ticket came out! Won't be going back there.
