Only an 4 because of the price but it was an easy enjoyable experience. We just drove in & pressed the button for a ticket then the barrier lifted. We got a space no problem then when we decided to leave York to head back up to Scotland we paid our 5 hours £17.50 at the ticket machine & got back out easily by putting in our original ticket in the machine next to the barrier & hey presto!!! We had no contact with any humans lol. It was all self service. I’d say it’s a bit dear for a day trip & we will look elsewhere next time but it was certainly convenient for a last minute trip that we did to join friends. We’d use it again. York is lovely, go see it.
Pre booked parking, stuck in a queue to get into the car park as the sign said it was full! How can it be full if you've been able to Pre book and pay in advance. Phoned customer service and told it busy because of school holidays. Still stuck in queue waiting to get in over 30 mins. Absolutely shocking given the price!
Good spot, clean, safe… need to go to 3rd floor for payment n there is attendants if I need help.. card payment only..
As York parking goes, this isn't too expensive. It is conveniently located and, because I pre-registered, I could just drive in and out using the ANPR. It's also very clean and the spaces are a decent size. I visited on a stormy January day, when York was almost devoid of tourists, so this car park was also very quiet.
A good experience from start to finish. Website and booking were straightforward.nnLocation of the car park was great, facilities were spot on and clean.nnWould return without hesitation
