Easy parking , lots of spaces for big cars as well. Pre booked online and arrived , registration plate recognition, and then parked up easily.nnReasonable pricing and secure.nWe stayed in York overnight and this has access to the centre as soon as you leave the car.nnIf it helps, we travelled here in a big SUV, and both the height and width of the car were not a problem to get in or out, so no risk of alloys or roof being damaged.nEven on a Friday and Saturday it had lots of spaces available,.nnReasonable for secure parkingn24 hours we paid £25
We didn't need to insert ticket on the way out. The licence plate reader recognised our car and the barrier lifted up. This car park is the best location for The Shambles the nearest. I've parked here like 5 times over the years and there was always spaces. The payment machines accept credit cards.
Expensive even for York. £13.20 for 3 hours on a Sunday! In addition it is absolutely filthy.nnEDIT: As per Q-parks reply I contacted customer care. I do not appreciate having my time wasted. They told me I was charged correctly. So as previously stated this car park is a rip off.
I'd say not enough spaces compared to the people who visit York. And you will have to wait for some time to get a space. And the price is a bit high. Average is 20 when you finish walking around in York.nIf possible, plan for a walk and ride of NCP Park Close by which is cheaper
Paid around £70 to have car parked here for a couple of days. It is NOT guaranteed parking. Been waiting in a line with no movement for a couple of hours. Not worth it. Missing out on holiday just to park.nnEdit: So this actually led to our car overheating and broke the cooling system. We got so far out of york and had to call for breakdown.
