What a delightfully peaceful church, with a splendid sculptural tableaux of the last supper on the reredos. I like and support the way it connects to Coventry cathedral's Community of the Cross of Nails with a focus on reconciliation. I felt that God was present in the building far more than in the Minster.

St Martin le grand is a medieval church in Coney street York, in July 1942 it received a direct hit from incendiary bombs in the infamous Baedeker raid on York, only one aisle remained whole and that now forms the church, note the clock with the naval officer on top that is on the outside of the church
