Highly recommended.nStaff did their best to make sure you had a pleasant stay.nThe rooms were comfortable and really lovely.nThank you Richard for sorting out our parking and for our lovely room for our joint birthday.nI recommended getting parking early,but NCP is about 5 min away if the hotel parking area is full.nFacilities were excellent. Location is brilliant. Shops and restaurants close by.nHad a fantastic time.Thank you all.
Great location, phoned ahead to ask about parking and they advised to try as some cars had left before we arrived as guests had checked out, luckily we got a space.. all staff are really welcoming and the place is spotless and smells lovely! Quite possibly one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in the UK. We stayed in room 701 & the view was amazing I’m so glad we booked this hotel! Bed was firm and comfortable, bathroom was small but neat and functional!nAnd as all in York, it was a short walk to everything in the other side of the river!
Superior room where we stayed for my partners birthday totally substandard. Complimentary parking ? We were charged extra for this on checkout . Location walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great . Asked to review hotel and we brought the faults we found in the room to the hotels attention but were not listened to . In hindsight would have saved our money and stayed elsewhere .
Exceptional Stay – Highly RecommendednnWe stayed at the Radisson in York this weekend while taking our son back to university. It was our first time staying here, as we would normally choose the Hilton, but from the moment we arrived we were completely won over.nnWe were greeted on reception by a lovely lady called Bee, who was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy the full Radisson experience, and her warmth immediately set the tone for our stay.nnOur room was immaculate, very spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, making it a perfect base for York.nnThis morning, the lady on reception was once again so polite and extremely friendly, which really made our departure just as pleasant as our arrival. It was genuinely a joy to stay here.nnWe visit York on a regular basis, and I can confidently say that the Radisson will now be our first-choice hotel going forward.nnMany thanks to the Radisson team for such a wonderful stay.nnKind regards,nSteve Abene
Managed to park in car park close to Hotel £20 per night. The room we felt was a bit expensive as didn’t have breakfast. Check in was very good and efficient and was upgraded to a room on the 6th floor with a fabulous view of the river and York Minster. And included a fridge and complimentary bottles of water which was a good thing.The room was spacious, clean and warm with bath robes if required. The bed was huge. We stayed 2 nights and found the location to York perfect and York was wonderful, York minster fantastic, The Shambles, and the whole weekend. Would definitely recommend the Hotel for its location. We went on 9th January and Xmas tree still up in Hotel!!!! Thankyou
