It is a very nice place to spend some leisure time. I have been there for 3-4 days, Staff is always cordial with all things.nI would recommend this place as 9/10. This is place is very close to the city main attraction. One can walk to the York Minister, York museum and Shambles market.nOne of the best thing I like it the review view from the balcony of my Room
Nice hotel, friendly welcome and the rooms good. Breakfast was a buffet which I’ve never really liked but it was tasty and hot. Everything seemed clean and looked after, just a few signs of wear and tear. Centrally located, so good for a tourist visit or a night out but I was here on a business trip and there was noise from the bars across the river.nI could also hear some of the other guests in nearby rooms, some poor person got the sneezes late at night nOverall a nice hotel but it would be nicer if I couldn’t hear the screams and shouts of people quite far away.
Perfect location for a stay in York, just a short walk from the train station, and also into the old town centre.nThe room was very clean and spacious, with complimentary hot drinks.nThe best part of the stay was the friendly staff we met, especially Erika in Reception, who we loved chatting to, and who gave us some great tips about visiting the area. Sourabh in the breakfast restaurant was also very friendly and helpful, making sure we were well looked after. The breakfast options were plentiful and varied, with hot food, cereals, fruit, pastries, and juices/hot drinks. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options too.
We had a large group stay for my sister's hen and am blown away by how amazing all the staff were. Valentina who coordinated our rooms and requirements for the hen was an absolute legend. Thank you!! We had the best time, the rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfy. There was a big selection for breakfast and was yummy. We will definitely be back!
Good stay at the Radisson for work. Nice hotel with a view overlooking the river in a nice big room. Had a good night sleep and everything was as expected.nnBreakfast was very good with lots of choice, probably the beat scrambled egg I've had at a buffet style restaurant.nnParking was expensive at £18 a night, but I suppose it's expensive as you are in the centre of York. I also noted that my extraction fan in the bathroom had clearly never been cleaned as it was grey with dust. But overall a very good stay and I would return.
