Telephone payment system very poor! Fortunately there is one card reader on the site. Not impressed by the phone app nor the Council's customer service regarding parking. Don't expect help. The car park is fine just search for the one and only card payment machine.
Close to town, sometimes there's no car parking left to park. Reasonable prices too.
I spent 10 minutes trying to pay by app which failed twice only to find the next machine along more modern and accepted debit card. You can guess what I was thinking. Good location that's why expensive I suppose.
beautiful large parking , but only too few parking spaces for families with children at the expense of many parking spaces for the disabled, which are almost unused and the parking officers cut like vultures for prey
It's in a very convenient position close to the city centre, the Minster side
Convenient for city access. Very expensive to park. Limited spaces and near a school so ideally avoid drop off and pick up times.
Slightly expensive for parking but we don't do it everyday...good walk around York shambles and the other shops so all good busy which was nice to see..we took the pooch and she was ok with the crowds..Only criticism is the toilets York council you should be ashamed of yourselves the toilets where awful and to top it off you had to pay to use them which I don't mind but not this time rant over apart from that York is a lovely place ENJOY
Busy, but enough spaces that we found one. Close to the centre as well, literally 5 minute walk from the Shambles.
Good location car park but unable to access due to accident at entrance. Have used on many other occasions.
Not a fan of pay and display carparks. Prefer pay when you leave because then you only pay for your stay.
