As car parks go this is fine. Narrow entrance but well lit and easy to navigate. Not cheap £2.95 per hour but great location. Never noticed it before but will use again. Spaces are fairly narrow but easily enough room to get in and out of a normal car. Felt safe as two security guards were walking around when I arrived and left.
Had about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday. As at 04-Feb-2023 it is £3.45 per hour / £24.95 per day unless you download the app where it's £2.95 / £22.95. If you're staying at the travel lodge then they have a discount card at reception. Think that might bring it down to something like £15 for 24 hours
Good car park but don't use the lift. Unless it's a new one.
Expensive, tiny spaces and obscenely tight uphill turns to get beyond the ground floor, where I was convinced I was going to scrape. On the plus side, the location is good and the staff were great. But, there are loads of decent car parks in York and the stress of navigating the tiny turns and spaces is simply not worth it. Good for small cars but for me, never again.
Very expensive and very, very tight getting round corners and parking spaces, ideal if you have a small car, wouldn't recommend for a bigger car
Nice and secure but not cheap at £25 for 24 hours
Got a discounted rate as part of a hotel stay, must admit it didn't feel like the safest of car parks. It may have just been a bad weekend in York, but, I had to avoid used hypodermic needles walking back in and when I got back to the car it looked like there had been a fight as there were smashed bottles, signs and all kinds destruction around the car. I might add the car wasn't damaged and there were people slowly clearing up, but with 2 young children it wasn't the best. The up and down ramps are super tight so careful on your way in and out. Price with discount was pretty reasonable £35 for 2 days parking in the center of York. Also no charging points either which was a bit of a pain. But there are parent and child spaces which was a bonus especially with all our luggage
Good location but very busy due to flooding.
Good place to park your car, safely over night.
It is a car park. Got reduced rate whilst staying at the Hampton Hotel. The chap who was mopping up was a lovely happy chap, made us giggle. Quite tight if you have a large car going up and down but if you are sensible it is doable.
