Gary was awesome at St James parking lot for us. Some rude people took our spot and the lot was full. Gary helped us secure a spot and helped us back our 9 passenger van perfectly into the tight spot. Thank you Gary at St James for coming to our rescue!!
Despite pre-paying £3 for evening parking, our barcode wasn't working in the machine and no help was available when the help button was pressed at the barrier. Only choice was to pay an extra £7 to get the car. Nothing like the last Qpark we used, this is filthy and stinks of wee, kind of surprised we had a car to come back to tbh
Parked at this carpark on Friday after having to take my wife to the maternity unit at St Mary's hospital right opposite the carpark. We left the hospital at 2am and when I came back to the carpark to collect my car it was broken into. It was the last thing we needed that night in a carpark that is meant to be a safe, secure space. We have tried to obtain the CCTV but not getting anywhere. My wife is due to give birth at any moment and were left without a car. Please be careful if parking here.
Q-Park have great ratings however on entering the car park we found homeless people camping out in the middle of the area. Skate boarders rolling up and down the place and to top it all two drug users sat against the pay machine chasing the dragon. The office where the attendant should be was empty and it did not look like the place was being managed. It left us with little confidence so we forfeited our £9.40 online pre-booking and promptly left and parked elsewhere.
Update: I have driven past this carpark and cannot see ANY signage at entry that shows it is not accessible to wheelchair users. Suggest q parks reviews this matter. No lifts in this multistory carpark so the lady on the help button told me. No good to this wheelchair user who had already entered, parked and struggle to get out of car and into wheelchair. No one at help desk. Lady on help button told me it was ok and not illegal, I never knew multistory carparks were exempt from the Disability Discrimination Act until she told me this was perfectly legal. Would have been nice to have had warning with a sign q parks.
Pay machine wasn’t working! We finally found one that did.
I prepaid £9.40 several weeks in advance for a parking space when visiting Manchester for a concert, but on returning to the car park, and putting my ticket into the machine, I was not given the option to enter my pre booking ref number, and had to pay another £8.40 to get out. Steer well clear of these con merchants, and park somewhere else!! To get my refund, these shysters have asked me to send them my bank card numbet, bank account numbrr, and bank sort code. I have now reported them to Trading Standards. STEER WELL CLEAR!!
Easy to park, right by the eye hospital and st Mary's hospital.
Overpriced, not a member of staff in sight and not secure.
Unattended car park didn’t realise Had my front license plate stolen which has never happened to me before. Should have checked the reviews. DO NOT PARK HERE
