It's a car park very close to UoM. What more do you want?! Never had a problem feeling unsafe or with anybody hitting my car. Loads of spaces at 8am.
This a a very well kept public car park. The lifts are clean and the attendant can often be see walking around on duty. Last month I miss placed my phone and when i rang it a kind gentleman answered only to tell me I had left it on the pay machine. He had it in his office waiting for me. When I arrived back the gentleman Patrick was very polite and opened the barrier so I don't have to pay for the car park again. He is a Real treasure, lovely meeting you Patrick. Keep up the good work.
Good car park £12 a day
Convenient location for the National Graphene Institute just opposite and also if you stay at the Hyatt regency about 5 minutes walk down the road. Fairly empty when I visited so it was easy to get a space at ground level. Reasonable parking charges £10 for 24 hours.

Ever been held hostage in a car park and unable to leave? Read on. Exit barriers regularly don't work when you're trying to leave, especially around 4-5pm on a weekday when lots of people are trying to exit the car park. When this happens huge queues build up all the way to the top floors of of the car park and it can take 25 mins to get out. I use this car park every day and have experienced this too many times, NCP don't seem to care. People get frustrated and angry, and it's frankly unacceptable to treat paying customers this way.
Good car park if you can get a space on the lower levels. Could do with more cctv in the car park. Payment machine doesn't accept the new polymer noted yet so bring a different way to pay.
Parked here recently. Not only is it difficult to get into there is no security whatsoever. My car was damaged by someone trying to remove parts from it which caused me significant inconvenience and expense. NCP just quote their terms and conditions with no concern and no apology. They tell me the cctv cameras have been disconnected and their is no security on site because it is an automated barrier operated car park. In other words they only use cameras on sites where there is no barrier so they can fine motorists who have overstayed for a few minutes. . Rather than park here there is 3 hours of free parking on the road behind the Williams Jaguar garage opposite. Be warned this car park is unsafe!!
