Actually one of my favourite parks.nnI take early morning walks by the pond, it’s got a bike path, it’s suitable for skaters, there’s two playgrounds - one for younger kids and one for toddlers.nnMy favourite part has to be the hill at the side near the dome, I always catch the best sunsets on that side. There’s a car entrance if you are coming from Fallowfield side.nnWalking the entire park from the outside is about 6k steps for those wondering.nnThere’s also an old gothic building and I do like the architecture.nnThe park has a lot to offer for adults and kids.
The park covers a large area. There is a pond on the southern part of the park where various types of birds can be seen. The water seems blue and people enjoy watching the views. You can find a mound where people enjoy sitting on the grass field. In the southern area, it remains crowdy all the day. In contrast, the northern part is plate field and I saw many guys playing different games there. A church is also situated at that part.nOverall, it is recommended park for everyone.
We visited Platt Fields Park and was impressed to find a group of friendly people. There is a cafe for a cuppa or a bite to eat, seasonal fresh produce on sale, harvested the same day, and toilets if needed.nThere is a children's playground and a small lake with ducks and swans.nNice visit on a Sunday
Lung space near Curry Mile in Rusholme. Good for long strolls and lazy naps too. If you're an avid photographer like me, there's plenty of natural scenery to snap.
The Shakespearean garden is beautiful, and the lavender bushes are so nice to sit by! The lake in the middle is beautiful too, with a lot of ducks and swans.nNot very well maintained cleanliness-wise though.
