Only gave 1 star as i wouldnt be able to leave a review otherwise. Avoid this car park at all costs, i sadly made the mistake of parking here on 19th November, returned to my car to find it had been broken into despite it being parked close to the office and entrance and exit barriers. So much for a "secure car park" sad shame really, plenty of CCTV and even a nice spacious office which is left empty since no one can be bothered to man the place. Worst part 2 other cars were broken into on the same night on the floor above me, glass cleaned up by an attendant before everyone arrived back to their cars, but not on site to help? Strange job. Oh and getting a response out of anyone to assist you and report the issue is also another job, save your self the hassle and money and park elsewhere!
Horrific, first of all the photos shown around the building of the price are wrong as it cost me £17.95 for 3 hours, if that wasn't bad enough u was trapped inside the building for 30 mins as the shutters didn't open for me, I had to sneak behind another car just to escape, and the cherry on the cake is that consumer service don't care they have only been rude to me as of now, didn't care when I was stuck and called up for help as they put the phone down, when I asked about the over charges they just told me you should have read the website not the posters on the front and inside of the building, and as of the shutter it was my fault very disappointed as a student of the University next door I could have been a good returning customer.
24-hours parking for £15 and get 50% discount if you stayed at holiday Inn Express.
Really secure car park. Electric doors on approach prevent unwanted people entering the car park. Access by foot only via reg number. Slightly pricey compared to other car parks however you pay for the security.
Extremely expensive with a very poor tariff board. We stayed for just over 2 hours on a Saturday and it cost us £11.50. The parking itself isn’t even that nice or secure. Definitely not recommended.
updated Feb 2022 Was good on my first visit. However since around Christmas 2021 the gates and ANPR started not working properly and eventually both gates are now wide opened. Means so security at all.
Confused as to the other ratings as it was completely secure when I used it. The gates are always down until a car drives up to them a human will not trigger it, and the pedestrian door requires you to enter the reg of a car currently parked. Now I guess you could get around things by simply looking out for the reg plates of cars as they go in and noting them, but still seemed secure compared to ncp central lower mosely in which a mate had his car bricked today Please note, not cheap or reasonable, hence not full 5 stars
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Most filthy and disgusting car park I've ever been in, homeless people in the lift, disgusting smell everywhere, first and last time I parked there. By the way the AutoPay and the Park Pass Apl are an absolute joke and it didn't work. Had to then search for information on what to do and call customer service, was stuck on the phone for hours waiting for someone to pick up and now worried I'll get a fine as the app didn't record my car entering the car park. What a waste of space!
Centrally located. Expensive, but that's to be expected in Manchester.
I always use this car park when staying over in Manchester, the car park is locked and secured at night so security is great, I recommend booking online on the NCP website and searching for voucher codes. Overall we usually pay around £15 for 24 hours and have never had any issues.
