Love this store. So much variety and so many additional services available in store. Stopped at the cafe for a coffee. The staff were great. Particularly the young man who was on shift today 13/2/26. He was brilliant. So friendly and went over and above to make everyone welcome. He deserves some recognition . Loved him.
It was my first visit to the Primark in Manchester, and overall, I had a mixed experience. The store itself is very large, bright, and well-organised with a huge range of clothing and accessories for all ages. There’s a good variety of items and some great prices, which I really appreciate. It’s definitely a good place if you want to do some quick shopping or browse for fashion essentials.nnHowever, one thing that really disappointed me was the lack of clear information about customer toilets. When I asked the security guard if there was a toilet, he said there wasn’t one and suggested I go outside to Burger King. I walked around but couldn’t find any sign indicating toilets either. Later, someone told me that there’s actually a coffee shop inside the store where a toilet is available, but there were no clear signs or directions about this anywhere.nnIt would be helpful if Primark could add visible signs or make their staff aware of the facilities available to customers. Small details like this make a big difference to the shopping experience, especially in such a busy city-centre store.
We went around 10:00 am and I found that it was extremely clean and a well looked after primark . Then it started to get extremely crowded with people putting their rubbish on the floor and other places . One thing I would suggest would be to have rubbish bins in places . There is a cafe, a barber shop and a beauty salon all in it ! I don’t know how there are though . It is mostly self checkout with a few cashiers. The place is not very well signed in the inside .nnFor the brand itself , I would say it was a cheap , fast fashion brand who changes clothes nearly every week . It has gotten a lot more expensive over years ,reaching up to where leggings in Next were cheaper than in primark ! I would have never imagined that !nnOverall it’s a good place to go early in the morning where not a lot of people are there .
Great variety of clothes, shoes, homeware compare to some Primarks. Very close to my home. Definitely a place to be for everything you need. Large, clean and spacious. However today, I witnessed lack of any interest from the young staff. 3 people were chatting when I tried to get there attention. No one came. When I went back as they were behind the tills they just continued on talking. I needed to get their attention again. Not good! Ignorant! Lost two stars, should staff is more attending would have been 5.
Very disappointed with my experience at Primark Manchester Piccadilly on 29/05/2026.nnMy friend and I had both paid for our purchases and were leaving the store with our receipts when we were stopped by three security staff and taken to an investigation room on suspicion of shoplifting. We fully cooperated and immediately showed our receipts. After checking everything, the staff confirmed that we had not stolen anything and that all items had been paid for.nnWhat upset us most was that we were treated as suspects without proper checks being carried out first. No security alarms had sounded, and a review of the relevant checkout footage would likely have confirmed that we had paid. Despite being wrongly accused, no apology was offered until I specifically asked for one.nnBeing escorted away by security in front of other customers was embarrassing, humiliating, and distressing. We are honest people who had done nothing wrong, yet we were made to feel like criminals.nnI hope Primark reviews its security procedures and ensures staff conduct thorough checks before subjecting customers to such an upsetting experience. This was one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had.
