The hotel was really good, they changed our room for a ground floor as my partner forgot to mention her disability when she booked. The reception staff, Michaela and Jake were very friendly and great with our autistic son who was overly excited as it was his birthday. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. I can’t complain for the price. Only bad point is the breakfast, food was fine but the poor girl working in the restaurant seemed to be by herself, but she did a great job.
Really handy Premier Inn for the ferry port with local amenities nearby such as Sainsbury's in walking distance including fuel station. I stayed in a Premier Plus room for the first time anywhere. The room was very good NB rooms are upstairs. Comfy chairs, enhanced supplies such as coffee machines and mini fridge with water. Enhanced toiletries.nnThere were a few issues which were too late at night for me to go and sort then and there. The spare pillows were either mouldy or dirty so couldn't be used reported this morning. The TV didn't work last night due to weak signal it said, it did work this morning though.nnI think some deep cleaning/bleaching would be good around the bath taps and also the shower screen guard strip as they were really black. General cleaning standard was good but I think Premier inn need to periodically allow time for a deep clean. Also, I think things like the pillows should be part of a weekly check.nnPlenty of free parking register in hotel.nnAll in all on this occasion the Plus room was only a few pounds more and was worth it. I also took advantage of a special email deal to get free breakfast which is a good one to look out for. I'll review the Brewer's Fayre separately but despite some poor reviews, we had good food and service.nnI would stay again.
Stayed here for the Brighton match and for waking in the South Downs. Ideal location, 10 mins walk from train station and regular bus service into Brighton and beyond. Despite having a problem with the TV on the first night due to the rain, the friendly, efficient staff compensated us with a WiFi code and free breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a very pleasant stay. Would definitely come back to this one again when in the area in the future.
The first room I was allocated has blood and hair on the sheets and fecal stains and hair on the toilet. The floor also had rubbish.nnI was allocated then a second room promptly which was better but again dirty floor, dusty allover and stained toilet. At this point I decided my only option was the deep clean the room myself thanks to a nearby Sainsburys. I expected some discount off my stay for the poor housekeeping but was not provided this.
Bedroom was really nice, disabled bathroom was really dirty and could not be used, what looks like scum and pooh. I have however been told that they doing up the rooms but still doesn't excuse not cleaning properly. We told them, they did try and clean but still doesn't look clean and needs replacing.
