Good for families at breakfast where kids eat free with every full paying adult. A full buffet breakfast with a continental option, and fruit with a fair choice of items. Staff are pleasant and they have a kids play den (check opening times and fee applicable) , it may be your only reason for visiting Newhaven (and this comes from someone who lived in the town for 2 years)

I was very disappointed with the meal. I had a"New York" burger. The meat was served with a smearing of a type of cheese, some oven dried chips and the usual pieces of lettuce and tomato. It cost over £10. The restaurant is dark and tired. It reminded me of the "Little Chef"s in the 1980's. My wife had a Lamb Shank and said it was adequate but not very tender. I am sure that 'Brewers Fayre' could do a lot better. I doubt that I will ever return to fimd out.

Great food. Went on mother's Day evening, didn't have a reservation but they found us a table and although the place was packed we didn't have to wait too long for the food. They have a fantastic play area for kids too.

We went here for their Chef's Counter Curry night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food itself was pretty reasonable, decent amount of choice and tasted OK. The dessert choices were also good and tasted amazing.

I've been here 3x before where the staff were lovely, but on this visit it must be new staff because they were frightfully rude. I rung the restaurant to inquire about menu options but when I arrived i was told they had completely changed what they told me even though it was within 5 days of ringing (i travelled 200 miles each way to travel here on an incompetent idiots word). It was my hard earned holiday but the staff rudeness and incompetence made us leave and go home early. The apparent manager was the most rude, power hungry, incompetent human being I've ever come across in my 40 yrs of life. How he is a manager of anything in life is a complete joke. It is apparent he shouldnt be able to manage an under 10's football team let alone business such as yours. I would let him go if you want sucess. It is a shame as I've been here numerous times and have recommended to friends, which I will immediately take back. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONALISM
