A huge thank you to Manda and Afrina for their help today! Traveling for work with a tall van can be a real challenge, especially when it comes to finding parking in the city center. I kindly asked if I could use their staff parking area, and without hesitation, they let me. If it weren’t for them, I honestly wouldn’t have known what to do, as there was nowhere else my van would fit. I truly appreciate it, thank you both!
Service at the reception was very slow, having one member of staff during busy check in time is not good. Then a customer asked for a drink and he was told he would have to wait till she checked all the customers in before he could be served. It's great having hotels that are reasonably priced but it's not fair on customers to have to wait so long because the company doesn't want to pay for more staff. Rooms were looking tired in need of an update and sadly the bathroom wasn't in a great state, the toilet only just flushed.nnI wasn't well so fancied staying in the room and ordering room service, sadly that didn't happen as the phones were just constantly ringing.nnA shame as I stay in Premier Inns very often, and just wanted to make this point.
A budget hotel with high end service. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but Charles is someone special. It was very quiet so he was a bit of an everyman. Calm, kind and genuinely engaging.nnBreakfast was cooked to order and was spot on.nnThe Doctors surgery and patients walking through the bar and restaurant was a bit odd!
Nice rooms although u won’t be able to tune into and watch GB news. Rooms are shoddy with damage to side tables and desk . The bed is confortable tho. Helpful Afina staff at the main reception and good chef making the food.
Well maintained rooms, the lift is missing buttons and even though the staff are nice, they vanish. I was waiting 50 minutes for just a drink to start my meal and the restaurant had only another 4 people - who equally looked annoyed for waiting for so long. Meal was average, nice and did the job.
