Staff were friendly and amazing. The location is perfect. Next to the train station and parking garage. Super handy...but....my room was hot and airless. It had no windows. Which during a heat wave was suffocating. The bathroom ventilation systems made such a racket I was kept awake by my neighbour's system and although it's a non-smoking hotel, people do smoke in their rooms. Ashes were in my bathroom sink and my room stank of smoke. As a non-smoking customer who likes quiet, light, cool rooms I won't visit again. Youth hostels have offered me a better quality of price and hospitality experience in the past. Why pay above hostel prices for an inferior experience?
Pleasantly surprised that this wasn't as horrendous as people have described. However for £80+ for a twin room. I'd have expected a kettle in the room, and a hair dryer, a picture on the wall and some character to the place, and breakfast! Much better alternatives available nearby that include kettle/hairdryer. Warmly welcomed by the staff. Working Aircon. We did have a tiny window looking up to the offices above. The bed was very comfortable. It looked clean enough except behind the TV where it's very dusty. Toilet/shower room was functional.
Much like the town itself, please only visit if necessary! Being a budget hotel you don't expect much... but rusty and sharp parts of the shower wall; a blind that doesn't actually cover the whole window and keep out light, sheets that have not had TLC when cleaning resulting in hairs and dirt, are still not acceptable. The dim the light switch, and TV, are clearly both decorative features as neither actually work and the contrast between luminous orange, and dirty scratched paint-splodged walls do not offer much comfort. My only positives being that the staff are friendly, and I only have to be here for 1 night.
Staff are friendly and the price is cheap to stay there but that is where the positives end. Rooms are small, a given for the price, but the walls are thin so you can easily hear people talking in other rooms. The rooms weren't the cleanest and you could smell that other people were smoking in other rooms. Lifts were out of order and the shower pressure was very low.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was full of mould, chewing gum stuck to bedding. TV but no remote. Couldn’t get hot water for shower. Walls were paper thin so you could hear everything. I have never felt so unsafe anywhere. I used this hotel as a stay over before a flight and never again. Don’t think I got one minute of sleep.
Out of every hotel I have stayed in, this was by far the worst one yet! Firstly the Asian receptionist is extremely rude and her customer service skills are appalling. It took her a full hour to check us in and tried denying our request for early check in. After an hour hassle with that rude worker we finally got our cards and the second we came into our rooms, it was dirty, mould covered the ceiling, the coat hanger had screws sticking out and now drilled into the wall properly which can hurt someone, the tv didn’t work, and there were stains all over the walls, curtains and windows. THAT IS NOT THE WORST YET, the bathroom is the filthiest thing I’ve ever witnessed, it had not been cleaned as the toilet roll was half full when we arrived, guests hair and snot was on the floor. I felt more safe having a wee at subway than that hotel. Do not recommend not worth the money
Lights didn't work in our room or the TV, but it was relatively clean, cheap, and the bed comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was built like a maze. A solid 2.5 or 3, the definition of "you get what you pay for." If needed, I would stay again for single night stays.Rooms: 2/5
An excellent location to get to the train station and airport. Overall I'd say that the hotel is okay considering the location, but the hotel itself wasn't great. The blinds for the window weren't big enough so there was constant light from a street lamp coming onto the bed - this contributed to a poor sleeping experience. The walls were extremely thin and we could hear snoring coming through the wall. Rooms: Basic but does the job. Clean. Safety: The hotel itself felt safe. Luton itself doesn't feel very safe to walk around at night time. Walkability: Great walkability to Luton train station and a short walk to the bus station for transfers to Luton Airport. Also a short walk from shops; we were able to get some late night bubble tea nearby. Food & drinks: There is no catering at the hotel; you'll be able to find food from shops nearby. There is a McDonald's in walking distance.
Awful experience Would never recommend anyone to stay here. Super unhelpful and rude staff. Dirty rooms with dirt and hair on the floor Blood on the mattress Blood stained pillows Blood stained duvet Blood on the toilet handle No noise control , you can hear everything from the next door room , so no privacy Bug on the bed Broken lift No parking No heater/ radiator , super cold rooms Broken TV Inadequate light Asked for ironing board , refused on my face although ironing board was available Asked for cleaner , refused Asked to change the duvet and Pillows, was provided with 1 extra bed sheet and w pillow cases. Shower curtain smell like vomit Splashes of Blood on bathroom and bedroom ceiling. Awful, utterly awful. Very disappointed
This hotel is in poor condicion. Machines not working, elevator not working. Some fire doors do not have the safety measures, my card keep getting blocked, the people that clean thar room keep incomodating and waking me up, there is no sign at the door to keep them from getting in. They got in one day without authorization. I asked to change hotel but no answer, i payed another hotel for 2 days because i could not stay there, i became sick because of the poor condicion of the hotel and poor cleaning. Dangerous place to be in luton. To much noise you ear outside of room from other people. The bathroom was broken and so was the air condicion. No controler for the tv, only 1 card given and we are 2 people. I will never again be here. Its not worthy all the money i gave i should receive a refound. This hotel should be closed till its better or just dont open again. I hated my stay here. The room in the photos is also different then the state of room in this hotel!
