Standard premier inn, this one is pretty new. The rooms are fine but my bed was firmer than any I've slept in before. Breakfast the usual selection, which is fine with me. Location is out of town but convenient for the rail station - about 10 min walk.

The hotel was clean and I received a friendly welcome. The room was large and had adequate space for storage. As with all Premier Inns, there was very little in the way of provisions in the room or indeed the hotel - a kettle and tea/coffee sachets in the room, and a vending machine in reception. Next door to the hotel is a Brewer's Fayre where breakfast is served. I paid £8.50 for a full English breakfast - in a serve yourself hot buffet format. Everything was tasty enough and there was a regular replenishment of fresh fried eggs, but I couldn't help but feel that the breakfast was expensive for what it was. Other than this, a comfortable night's sleep was had and the bathroom was clean and provided a hot, strong shower.

Place was lovely, room temperature would not cool down but for a standard 2 night stay it's was great value for money
