Good staff who like to share in with humour. Best value breakfast I've had in a while for the price £9.50. Still not sure about the squeaky corridor floors, especially when they have signs up to say "tip toe as some of our guests are asleep during the day"! Decent staging post for our 3 day roaming break.Rooms: 4/5
I stayed here for 3 nights with my grandfather, and we were both incredibly impressed with the standard of staff! I realised once we checked in that we had booked the wrong room type to what we expected, and the staff were incredibly accommodating to quickly adjust things, to ensure our stay was comfortable. Not only that, but the staff quickly began to recognise us and always greeted you as you entered or left the hotel and were curious to find out your plans for your stay. It's not the easiest to impress my 93 yr old, military serving, grandfather, but he was overwhelmingly impressed by the staff and service particularly!!
Do not plan to sit in this Hotel after 9pm on a Sunday Evening My Party of 10 were put out of the premises, after a not inconsiderable Payment for 10 x Meals, and had to sit OUTSIDE, in the dark and COOL evening. It was only by the Grace of God, it was dry. I will NOT be back and would NOT recommend this establishment. Premier Inns, Please be aware, this is 2022, NOT, 1922.
One of the best Premier Inns visited. Restaurant very nice. Room had lovely comfy armchair which appreciated after long journey and another chair as well. Views from room were lovely.Rooms: 5/5
The staff were amazing and Chris at the restaurant was especially wonderful. He couldn't have done anymore for us. We had a couple of food intolerances in our group and the staff were fantastic. The evening meal and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had a table to table. The single beds weren't as comfy as the big double but for kids for one night it was good. Everything was extemely clean and tidy. We highly recommend this place as a place to stay before getting the ferry at Cairnryan. Rooms: Brilliant! Couldn't want for anymore Safety: We felt very safe throughout our whole stay Food & drinks: 10/10 would happily book again
this place was one of the worst places ive ever been. the hotel was fine the ladies were lovely . BUT in the pub its self quite a large group of us were there for 3 nights from 23rd 24th and 25th September 2022. in total i paid 365 pounds with bed and meal deals, first morning my breakfast was stone cold I let this one go, the evening meal they hardly had anything on the menu we wanted and had to pay supplements or alternative meals. day 2 exactly the same stone cold breakfast I then complained to the manager called gina who was not helpful and just said to me that it was warm when it came out , and walked off. then the same evening the same no food pay supplements . My pudding when it came just warm only just as I was eating there was the plastic casing in it which was sharp and nearly cut my my mouth.... Our last night we waited one hour and three quarters for our meal, and others came in after us got there food before us , the staff were so rude in the pub. The hotel not a problem very helpful
Been going there for the past 3 years and it is getting dated,it needs a good link of paint in the reception and rooms,Our room7was OK but there was no USB charging point which was a great disappointment fortunately I had a power bank ,but how many people bring a charging plug or battery pack?Rooms: 2/5
First of all we must say Toby in reception was top class. With 104 rooms he remembered our name and room number after being told once, he also always was pleasant, friendly and always greeted us and other guests with a smile. Our room was nice and big with a big wet room. We loved the purple light above headboard. Tv was good size, only downside we thought a small fridge available for the room for medication etc as we stayed a week. The ladies cleaning rooms had to move their trolleys so I could get past, each time was greeted with a no bother. We will definitely be back its one of, if not THE best Premier inn I have stayed in over the years. One point to make for management is maybe have slow closing doors to avoid the slamming.
Excellent hotel, with excellent staff. The only problem was the restaurant, they couldn't fulfil or order,they had run out of almost everything. We ended up with a burger and chips, that should has come with coleslaw, you guessed it, they ran out. Last orders was 9 pm because of staff training, on a Sunday evening, very poorRooms: 5/5
Fantastic location. Decent hotel with a very comfortable bed and a spacious room. No AC but there is a fan. Very good night's sleep had.Rooms: 4/5
