Pleasant Italian restaurant. Wide menu. Excellent pizza cooked in a proper wood fired pizza oven . Lost a star..too much salt on the chips but otherwise very good.
Probably the best pizza I've ever had. A sumptuous cheese, tomato, garlic and oregano delight. Great cosy atmosphere, very friendly staff and a top location adjacent to he Nith. What more do you need?Food: 5/5
Started with sharing their cheesy garlic bread, which is real authentic Italian and large like a pizza, not like the supermarket style. Following that, we had the lasagna, which was delicious and came with fries but was very filling. I sampled one of their large fresh pizzas, which had excellent taste. Rounded off with a glass of red house wine. Our Italian hosts, including Pierro, were very attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere I found was peaceful and out of reach of mobile signal - yay ! Will visit again soon. Oops enjoyed so much I forgot to take photos for you.... Next time ! Parking: The Dock Park is served by a free carpark. In the evening I found there was plenty of space.

Nice and authentic Italian food. The environment is cosy and the staff are very friendly.
Five of us went for a meal here. The food ordered by my four companions looked fine, however my calzone came out burned to a crisp see pic. When I spoke to the waiter about it he just said "that's how we always serve our calzone". Er, ok then! He did let me order a different dish, but insisted that there was nothing wrong with my calzone. Also meant of course that I had to sit and watch my dining companions eat for half the meal. Service was average, food was average or below in the case of my calzone, price was pretty high.
Best pizza around. We have tried all pizzerias in the vicinity, this one still cooks the best one Food: 5/5
Best restaurant in Dumfries. Superb food and wonderful staff
There were 14 of us booked that night, and we found the service, meal, and company, were excellent. But we were all very uncomfortable as we were far too hot eating our meal, even though they had air conditioning. We asked for the window to be opened, and they did that, but it was still very hot inside. We also had difficulty reading the menu as it was really dark inside too. It got that bad some of us had to go outside for fresh air to cool us down. But all that it would have took was to switch on the air conditioning unit and open the curtains so we could see properly. But here's the bit we couldn't understand, is, they switched on the air conditioning as we were leaving. To be honest it is a very reasonable wee eatery, but they need to consider us the customers.
