Thoroughly enjoyable breakfast with excellent cooking and very friendly and effective service. Nice atmosphere inside, and some lovely art on the walls as part of a local exhibition. The food was extremely well cooked, and they catered for our preferences on bacon cookery too! Will be back for breakfast again, and also try the delicious looking cakes too.
Amazing. Lovely place and atmosphere. Very welcoming, friendly and polite staff. Absolutely gorgeous food. Only one lager on draft, but it is an excellent choice with a light flavour that doesn't overpower your food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
What a lovely wee deli. The pastries are delicious and the choices of foods on menu plenty. I would recommend booking a table for breakfast or lunch as I saw quite a few people being turned away as it was full. It's a very popular bistro in Newhaven. Went for an evening meal. The food was delicious and the serving staff were very friendly. A big thank you to Colin - keep carrying that board
Wonderful ambience, great views across the Firth of Forth and AMAZING Cullen Skink Risotto. We had bottle of wine with meal for two. Definitely need to book table as always busy. Wheelchair accessibility: All on 1 level Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free options available
Our favourite bistro in town. All food top notch. Great selection of cakes. Children's menu is a bonus!
Very comfortable cafe, perfect for weekend mornings to chill before having a nice walk along the coast. Great French toast and pancakes, the bacon is amazing!Food: 5/5
Great service and a lovely brunch, though not massively substantial. I'd definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and the cakes on offer looked delicious.
We booked a table for four, the day prior, for Sunday breakfast. We were greeted at the door by a pleasant man who allocated us a table in the window. The choice on the menu was varied and the service was rapid. We all enjoyed what we had chosen . We left with tray bakes from a vast selection. Plenty of roadside parking and seating outside if you are accompanied by your pet or wish to smoke. Well worth a visit.
I came there only to try the desserts. This bistro offer you the savory dishes as well with the sea view of newhaven harbor. Their cakes is various but my fav is banoffee.
Spontaneous visit for lunch on a Tuesday. Clearly this is a popular venue as the place was busy, busy. Lucky to getting a table and enjoyed a steak baguette for lunch. Menu is flexible with small plates available as well as large plates. Range of options ver wide catering for most diets/preferences. Cake/desert selection looked stunning and this place will definitely be on my 'return visit' list to try out the sweet eats as well as full meal options. Great service from friendly staff. Venue also supports local artists with works on display and for sale. Best to book ahead methinks if guaranteed dining required.
