I love the P+R scheme across Britain, and parking at Poppleton Bar is always great. More than plenty of car parking spaces, with buses leaving every 10 mins. The terminal building is extremely clean, including the WCs. Also very friendly staff inside the terminal building.

The service of the buses is completely hit and miss! Plenty of times I've had to wait 25-30 for bus which I is meant to be every 10. They tend to miss out certain services in a morning, many times in the most recent weeks, people will be waiting for the 8:10 or 8:20 bus and the one that shows up doesn't leave until 8:30, the passengers are rarely told that this is going to be the case by any member of staff. They have one bus driver who when driving you can hear swearing at traffic and is extremely rude. Having to drive further to a Park and Ride station seems ridiculous when it's local and round the corner, however the sheer incompetence of some of the member of staff and complete haphazard service, driving further for a more reliable service is what I would prefer to do.

A place to park your car and get a bus into York city centre. They offer special tickets which include the price of parking. Make sure you check out the Electric buses they use as well.

Very convenient when coming into York from the A1 ... some of the drivers are very miserable .5 star for ease of use and parking
