I have never been more disappointed with a car park! It’s not hard to get one right really is it ? I paid £14.50 for the privilege of having my car re-painted by a flock of pigeons I can only assume I upset in a previous life !!!!! It then cost another £50 to have the car valeted and paint restored after its re-design from my feathered friends, and for some reason I also queued to enter this Pigeon fanciers urban coup !!!!
Absolute rip off £18 for 4 hours and the car park is a dump. Tight corners to squeeze round to go down the ramp. The lift is filthy and takes ages to arrive and smells. The car park is just absolute rubbish and rip off prices. Ripping your eyes out here for the price when there's cheaper places. Wouldn't have parked here if we knew prices beforehand. Very small amount of blue badge places as well not helpful
Pros are that it's really close to the station. If you were there for a day only and not a commuter that needed it everyday then it's ok in price for an NCP. Cons are it's filthy, the sheds look like they are able to fall over and they roofs are collapsing. The paring is full of water meaning that it's difficult to park and the place is full of pigeons meaning your car is likely to get a new coat of paint in there..
I cannot but reiterate the previous comments about the sheer volume of pigeon droppings your vehicle will accumulate in this car park. I parked my van for a total of 18 hours and on my return it looked like what I can only describe as resembling a plasterers radio. I even thought of the many previous reviews as I parked and thought I'd chosen my space wisely, not beneath any beams and even below a shelter which looked like it was put in place to stop such issues. Do not park here for more than 1 hour unless you wish to drive away in a vehicle which resembles a motorway services version of macaroni cheese!
The contact phone number for enquiries is incorrect. Even if you use the number on the pre-recorded message no one answered after waiting 25 minutes. Web-site didn’t have the answer to my question. Pretty inept customer service.
I'll give it 5 stars. Problems getting out on Sunday night after Dance comp at Railway institute. Barriers were not working properly and had to go into station to buy ticket to exit. Which wouldn't have been a problem but everyone in the car park were queuing to leave but had to leave there cars to go get a ticket to exit because the pay at Barriers wasn't working. We managed to get a ticket because we were at the front but others who didn't know the situation it will have been a nightmare especially if you have young children in the car and no one available to get you an exit ticket. No one on hand to help either. Only one barrier working the other one was damaged didn't help but some will have been stuck. Saturday worked absolutely fine which is why I gave it 5 stars. Just the lack of onsite help that was lacking.

Despite pre booking a space and been given a allocated arrival time. The car park was full. I spoke to a Ncp employee through the barrier intercom and was told we would just have to wait until someone returned and moved their car. They take advanced timed bookings but also take drive ins which meant we didn’t have a space. The car park is in a bad state of repair. Luckily we parked in the open. Our friends parked inside the derelict warehouse. We when went back to the cars after our break and theirs was covered in pigeon poo. The pigeons roost in there and there doesn’t seem to be any effort made to stop this. If possible find somewhere else to park. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Great location, we stayed at the premier Inn North, was told we would get a reduced rate, after a 1 night stay and finding are car covered in bird poo it cost us £29. Won't be staying there again. WARNING DO NOT PARK IN THE SHEDS
Car park was easy to find and to enter. The price was eye watering! The cost for convenience! If you use this car park do not park in the garages if at all possible - we wondered why there were lots of spaces & then discovered why when getting back to the car & it being covered in pigeon poo. Had to get it cleaned & that all adds extra to the already high cost.
