'Ow much??? Very expensive car park for a visit into York, not sure if prices are similar in rest of York. It was close to destination so parked there for convenience
As usual car park spaces are very small once you have backed in its very hard not to touch the car next to you with door, which is why we drove off and went to NCP... 14.00 for 4 hours parking... no wonder the shopping centres are empty..if your above average size 14 or find it difficult to get out your car, forget it!
The car park is well kept and easy to use. The primary method of payment requires downloading a specific mobile phone app, but bank cards could be used at a higher fee. The machine appears to take contactless payment but after trying 4 cards between myself and my companions we concluded the machine actually only takes inserted cards.
Car park innit. Good if you need to park a car. Expensive. Use the park & ride for a better experience.
Not much to say, it's a pay car park, clean though
Even more awkward to park in than castle car park, who's idea was it to put a strip of parking space in the middle of all of the others, couldn't even reverse a KA in half the parking spaces when busy never mind an SUV

A bit overtly charged parking compared to national average!! 2.70 per hour
£2.50 per hour the online app to purchase longer tickets when on the go is great but the parking rate is extortionate. Also our ticket stated we'd paid at 2.48pm but said it expired at 4:30pm even after paying for 2 hours. We also had the baby to get out and back into the car so in effect, we paid for 2 hours but got less than 1 and a half.
