The Pomegranate is a lovely old theatre. They have a very varied programme. With up to date films as well as plays satellite broadcasts. There is something for everyone. There is a very nice cafe/ bar to relax and have a drink before the performance. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Chesterfield is very fortunate to have such a theatre and also the Winding Wheel.

Beautiful old building full of art spirit. They do show movies and recorded ballet and opera. Nice sound, great picture. Cafe with nice coffee and affordable prices. Really nice and helpful staff. Great example when proper people on the proper place. Interior, outerior are stunning. Great theatre with lovely atmosphere and nice choice of plays.

Lovely building and easy to get to. A very personal feel while watching the show. Comfy seats too.

Royal Ballet big screen performance - wonderful! Where were you?! Pomegranate is a great theatre, very good facilities, well worth a try; a bit cold today.

Small theatre but large stage. I arrived before 18:30 so couldn't get in. They opened the doors to tell me to come back in 10 minutes! Jobsworth? It was a miserable wet foggy night, surely they could have made an exception. Apart from that quite a nice theatre.
