Much nicer cinema since it was revamped. Used to be a bit of a dump and not on the best road ever either, always some scrubbers hanging around nearby. Venue itself is good though, cinemas and seats make for great viewing, comfortable recliners and the food as far as cinema pricing goes is pretty good.
Went today for the first time in a while and couldn't believe the ticket price - £18.50 each for a standard ticket to a 2D film, no frills! My partner nearly had a heart attack! The seats are comfortable and recline but in my opinion that doesnt warrant the price hike level. Definitely won't be our cinema of choice in Sheffield going forward. The staff behind the counter were very apologetic and understanding of our shock when we were told the price, feel sorry for them as I'm sure they are faced with shocked customers a lot! Management should really consider their pricing as people will go elsewhere, it was a Friday evening and like a ghost town - not what you expect for a cinema in the middle of the city.
I recently visited the Odeon Luxe Sheffield and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The theater itself was spacious and comfortable, with great sound and picture quality.
A very modern cinema. Very helpful staff. Would visit again next time I am in Sheffield
Is an unique experience. To watch a movie from a recliner is something. Is like you are in your living room + fresh popcorn. Highly recommended.
Always nice and clean which is great. The seats are amazing and really comfortable. Doesn’t feel cramped at all. Our favourite cinema
We went to watch the avatar way of water absolutely brilliant the staff were amazing as I had my blind daughter-in-law with me we needed the audio description and they got that promptly for her and showed us were to go etc
This place is something magical. The stuff is very professional. Many thanks to cleaners, because the cinema is literally shining.
I believe it's my first time at this cinema but I will certainly be back soon. Great value seats particularly so if you go on a 241 Tuesday or Wednesday. Friendly staff on arrival checking tickets, really classy decor inside too. No queue when getting drinks and popcorn, staff very helpful again. Then was in screen 8 for the new Topgun film, big screen, crystal clear sound Dolby 7.1 and then the seats! Wow, so so comfy, great to be so comfy watching a 2 hour plus film, felt like being at home, loads of space and a generous table for all drinks and snacks. 1000% than a Cineworld experience. Looking forward to coming back
Expensive tickets like any odeon but I’m used to that and use meerkat 241. However the cinema has no parking at all and I parked in the recommended parking 200m away from the cinema… £15 I got charged! Totally put me off ever going again plus a memeber of staff told us we can’t take our own snacks in?? He had such a a bad attitude. Not returning any time soon.
