It was our first time visiting The Savoy Cinema and we thought it was great. The tickets were easy to buy online much more reasonable than the big chains. The staff were friendly and the snacks were reasonably priced. We booked the recliner seats that were very comfortable. We'll definitely visit again.
This is a hidden gem in worksop.nMuch cheaper than big name chains.nWell presented with modern meets old cinema vibes.nWe parked just around the corner which is free after 6pm.nSeats are very comfy with options for recliners.nWill definitely go back
Brilliant Cinema, all the seats are very comfy padded recliners on levels so no problem seeing the massive screen, with the back row being two seat settees. Reasonably priced too when you compare to other cinemas. Kids club Saturday and Sunday morning, Silver Surfers Wednesdays all great prices. Good selection of food and drinks. We ate at the White Lion for a meal, really nice food It's a lovely pub and they let us leave our car in their car park whilst at the cinema. Although you get your car parking fee back anyway at the Savoy which is nice. It's a real bonus for Worksop having this in Town and I highly recommend The Savoy Cinema.
Do wish the music was a bit lower.nThe recliner chair are brilliant plenty of room. The access from the main corridor to the cinema screen door could be better. It was very dark and difficult to navigate. Hopefully more folk will start to go. Pity the climbing wall and bowling can't be located in the same area. Would attract more folk to the top of town, especially if there was some nice places to eat.
Visited this morning for kids club having booked online. Sadly some of the kids were unwell, one too much to attend and another deteriorating just as the film started. The staff were wonderfully compassionate and professional despite there being sick involved and made a very stressed and frantic Mum feel contained, not judged and importantly able to attend her little one.nThank you guys, you were all so young but superb!
