Plas Newydd is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed house and gardens being the home of the Ladies of Llangollen. You can have a guided tour of the house and hear all the rich history of the Ladies and this unique property set in a wonderful tranquil setting. Alternatively as the locals do you can stroll round the gardens and go down in the Glen with its tree lined babbling brook. You can also visit the lovely cafe set in the Old Stable Block. A visit to Plas Newydd is not to be missed when you come to Llangollen set in the Dee Valley AONB and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Stunning! Absolutely loved this place. Able to park on site, beautiful gardens, stunning and interesting house, friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean toilets and an amazing little cafe with the best food we'd had all week. A gem, a credit to everyone involved. Wonderful art exhibition too, a lovely day out, peaceful and moving and wonderful to hear about the Ladies of Llangollen and John Yorke.

I'm local and learn something new about the house and see new quirks everytime. The gardens are free and worth exploring all year round. The dell is beautiful and quirky but has short but steep slopes. The cafe has wonderful homemade cakes. Check out art exhibitions in the cabin (y caban) too

beautiful old building, a stone circle, cute little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, and a fantastically beautiful walk down through the gardens. beautiful area that feels completely secluded from the surrounding town. there's a bowls green as well though i haven't seen it in use.

Extremely interesting historical building. The Ladies of Llangollen were a fascinating couple. Their eclectic collection carved wood paneling is unique. The house is not large, so you can read all the information and visit every room in an hour or so.
