Amgueddfa newydd yw Amgueddfa Dinbych yn cwmpasu amryw o gyfnodau hanesyddol o'r Neolithig hyd at y presenol.

Yn 2013 prynnodd Cyngor Tref Dinbych yr hen lys ynadon a'i drosglwyddo i'r Amgueddfa Dinbych ar brydles hir. Rydym wedi cychwyn ar y gwaith o sicrhau arian i addasu yr adeilad i greu amgueddfa cymunedol modern. Bydd yr amgueddfa yn gartref i nifer fawr o gasgliadau yn ymwneud a Dinbych a'r cyffiniau.


Denbigh Museum is a new museum with the purpose of covering a variety of historical periods ranging from Neolithic right up until the present day. The museum has recently acquired a lease on the former magistrates' court. Work has commenced on securing the necessary funding to adapt the building into a modern museum. The museum will become the home of a large collection of items relating to the former North Wales Hospital as well as a variety of local artefacts. The museum often holds special events and/or exhibitions.

Mission

(1) To establish and maintain a fully accredited museum for the benefit of the public.

(2) To promote art and history for the benefit of the public by establishment and maintenance of a museum.

(3) To advance education by the establishment and maintenance of a museum.
