I have been a patient for many years. No complaints at all. My husband had a lot of contact with the Doctors and Nurses till his death. They looked after him with compassion and kindness.
Had a small surgical procedure on my face & the whole experience from start to finish was nothing but of the highest quality. Very conciderate, informative & professional service received with the utmost care from the Doctor as well as the Nurse present. Thanks again.
My 94 year old grandad was sleeping in bed when one of the GP's decided to visit him for an appointment that had not been requested by himself, his carers or his family. When the GP couldn't gain entry they took it upon themselves to access a key box that had been provided for his care team, remove the key and gain access to the property without consent or permission. The GP then went upstairs, entered my grandads bedroom, woke him and began asking him questions. This is a serious breach of his privacy and dignity and also trespass, so I have had to contact the police and NHS Kent to investigate. I will also need to change his key box code to ensure that his human rights to dignity and privacy are maintained.
New to the area. Registered with Plas Meddyg. Staff approachable and efficient. Long wait making an appointment to see a doctor, but system seems to work and team clearly doing all they can in difficult times.
I felt relieved and affirmed after an appointment with Dr Ralph recently. His competence, experience and professionally caring manner give me confidence in his quality service at Plas Meddyg, BEXLEY .
I have recently joined from another surgery after moving and have only had a couple of dealings with this surgery but so far i can’t fault them. They are super caring and kind especially nurse Wunmi. What an amazing lady!
When I was 5, I was severely ill. I was constantly drinking water, getting up multiple times in the night to go to the toilet and sleeping a LOT throughout the day. My stomach was severely swollen and I was painfully underweight. I looked like I’d been punched in the eyes as they were so black. My mum decided to make an emergency appointment with yourselves, and when we got there, the doctor took one look at me and passed it off as a “viral infection” and told my mum to bring me back two weeks later. Thank God my mum fought the case as when I got to the hospital it turned out I was suffering from diabetic ketoacidosis and little to our surprise I was type 1 diabetic. Had my mum left it though, I would have been dead. Ever since then, me and my family have had a huge lack of support from yourselves and we are disgusted by how we are treated when we come in if we even manage to get an appointment or even spoken to.
Appalling decline of the surgery. Only issuing 10 direct appointments per day on the occasion l rang. What about the other hours in the day. You have more chance of a audience with King Charles than a Doctor. Promised an a appointment at erith hub, guess what, the hub had never heard of me !!., no appointment actually made for me, repeatedly missing information off of medical certificates.
A couple of months back I had severe toothache and was put on Antibiotics by the dentist. Littie did we know I had severe side effects to the antibiotics and I ended up vomiting consistently as well as sweating profusely and having crushing chest pains which meant I went into hospital twice with the ambulance. I wanted some advice on whether to continue taking the course of anti biotics but this GP surgery refused to see me even though it was an emergency and said I needed to wait 7 days for an appointment!
I phoned today at 14.25 for a face to face appointment for next week. I was first in the call queue. The receptionist answered & put me on hold by the time she came back to me I was told all face to face appointments had gone! When I queried this as I was 1st in the queue I was told it was probably because her colleague had booked them dealing with people in reception. So having wasted over 18 minutes on the phone, it is obviously easier to go to reception just before the appointments open at 14.30 & book that way as you can't be put on hold! So that's my plan for next week!
