Awful experience and service! I was supposed to have my blood test at 8:15am on the 4th of July, so having to arrange things at work for a late start and to travel for about 1 hour with big delays and bus service interrupted along the way..just to go there to be informed that the doctor is not coming to the practice. In the conditions in which they did not bother to announce. You can only feel miserable after paying so much tax to benefit of some normal and decent services…but the only thing you can get is waiting for another 2 weeks for your next appointment!
This must be the most awful GP practice in the borough. Showing signs which NHS tweets says requires immediate attention I used the web app to book a face to face appointment but there was only one available and in more than two weeks time. I tried to arrange a phone appointment but they are not currently doing any. Thinking this was an app error I called into the surgery next day but the receptionist simply confirmed it and shrugged. I took myself to Urgent Care where the doctor examined me and said she would email my GP seeking urgent attention. Six days later and I have heard nothing. What are these lazy clowns doing?
I've had issues recently with using the AskFirst app following removal of the e-consultation method and actually finding me an appointment. I was advised the app would give me appointments for next 2 weeks but ended up having to call the surgery back again despite this. It was also unable to give me an urgent appointment. It feels like a constant battle to find someone to listen to you and triage you appropriately. I was referred to the pharmacy for my issue which was completely inappropriate considering my medical history, length of time having my symptoms, requiring blood tests and a sick cert. This ended up being a waste of time for the pharmacy too and I was no better off following this. I work for the NHS myself and do understand the pressures people are under and staffing shortages but it really shouldn't be such a battle to get appointments and be seen. This new Ask First app despite being guided by Nice really isn't working well.
Absolutely appalling service and from all members of staff! Absolutely no care or concern for any of their patients. Waited almost a week for prescription to be signed off for my terminally ill father. Awful people and service!
Awful surgery.... My son age 3 is still due for nasal flu jab and its already December i have been chasing surgery since October but everytime they updated me that its not available. They sent message on 22 November regarding jab available and book via link which i immediately tried but not available and i called they said they are all book like in 30 minutes. How many jabs they arrange like 10-20 ? With festive season coming and more infection spreading i was concerned about my 3 year old because these kids are attending winter school first time and more prone to get infections these surgery is failed to offer jabs to younger ones. Though above 4 year old mostly get jabs in school only under 4 get through gp. Receptionist told me that they have 3000 -5000 kids to give jabs and its difficult...like seriously is there even this much kids under 3 registered under you...its a shame. I had much horrible experience before with this surgery but being negligent for kids with increasing infections its worst one...already December and no flu jab offered by this surgery
Very disappointed that as a doctors practice your are discriminative. How can you ban patients that use mobility scooters?! People use them as they need them not for fun - very sad as no explanation was given and your practice manager has still not contacted me regarding the complaint
I just wanted to say THANK YOU to reception and team who worked on morning 27/4/22 . Yesterday I brought my father in. He doesn't speak English, and was 50 min earlier for his blood test appointment as I had to go to work. Ladies were super helpful and saw him sooner. Also when I called reception to check if he finished, as he had no phone on him, lady at reception kindly checked for me and confirmed he was done and was waiting outside. Have a great day.
I recently registered with the practice and yes their lines are busy just like every other practice, and since I have worked at a busy dental practice before I understand how crazy busy and pressuring it can get! I appreciate the receptionist that helped me today, she managed to speak to the doctor about my condition and got me an appointment on the same day. People oftenly rush to comment and complain but forget to praise the little things that make a difference. Im happy with the practice and glad I joined it. People need to be more patient especially with front desk as they’re doing what they can to help!
I would not recommend anyone to join this surgery if you really want to see doctors this is not a place. If I would give them 0 rating I would. Very awful service. Reception staff is not polite to patient. I have made a huge mistake cancel my old surgery and registered my family hear. My wife was very sick with chest infection and breathing problems so she has to do e-consultation three time one time e-consultation she did on Friday morning for treatment and sick not they never send email back and Monday she has to do e-consultation again. Each time they ask you to put e-consultation feel like they want to make money from government.and doctors tell you they will ring you back middle of your treatment but it’s been month now I know doctors name but I don’t want to mention name here. We end of going to A&E and A&E doctors said your doctor should have help you with that what the point registering to GP. That’s still lot of issue with appointments holding phone for 2 hours but ya thats BEXLEY GROUP PRACTICE ya Covid-19 period is gone but we still have to do online consultation they should start doing walk in at least patients can be seen in same day before it gets worst.
Try booking an appointment on the day the doctor tells you to ,No roster up but you get told we will book it and let you know we'll guess what no info and no appointment not once but twice very poor service
