Apparently paracetmol and rest is the cure for everything- the flu, pneumonia, torn muscles, you name it.You’d be better off going to greggs and asking the cashier what he thinks is wrong with you. Absolute joke of a practice and would be shut down were it not one of 2 practices in St Andrews. I’d rather fly across the atlantic to be treated at home for literally anything than come back here.

Very rude staff, both admin and medical. Doctors and nurses prioritise getting patients out of the room as quickly as possible over diagnosing, caring for or curing patients. Website also contains contradictory information, such as three different times that are available to call the results phone line. Phone lines for appointments, including energency appointments, and results are often unanswered, even when phoning multiple times during the day. Staff appear to have a lack of communication between each other and with patients. Exceedingly long waiting times for appointments, longer by far than other practices I have experienced throughout Scotland. Pipeland Medical Practice is extremely poorly run and badly staffed.

If you can go anywhere else, go anywhere else. The apathy by which this place is conducted is astounding. They would rather you die than make any effort to be accommodating.

Disorganised, massively inefficient, information given unreliable (differs between people), prescriptions (very slow and/or lost), travel clinic incredibly inefficient, untrustworthy, expensive and very difficult, telephone consultations insisted upon to no good purpose. No one seems to know what they are doing and they do not focus on actual medical care. Some nice receptionists but ....

Pipeland Medical is the most disorganised inflexible company I've come across since my 2 years in Scotland. They are CONSTANTLY saying prescriptions will be filled and ready for pick up x day. They rarely are. They get lost or sent to the wrong place. I had an appointment which required a female doctor and the booked me with a male doctor. Then I waited in the waiting room 20 mins for them to pull someone else and it was a male again! They're rigid and unflexible I absolutely would never use this practioner if I was given a choice
