Excellent service. I had never used contact lenses or glasses before coming to them and they've been amazing about making sure I got things right. They were very willing to give me trials for contacts again and again whenever I was trying them, both initially and then when moving to weekly/monthlies my eyes are bit sensitive so tried a couple before getting the right pair each time. Also, I had a problem with one eye at a point and they were very good at seeing me and telling me what to do about it
Although I was receiving a free adjustment the man was extremely rude. He did the adjustment and practically shoved the glasses back on my face while opening the door and ushering me out. I didn't even have time to look in a mirror or feel the fit. Also, because the angle of the lens changed my vision was a bit distorted and when I said so he defensively told me he didn't change the lens obviously I know that.. and then sent me on my way. Not going back!
This truly is an excellent optician. Situated right in the heart of St Andrews, Duncan & Todd's friendly, attentive and experienced staff are on hand to help and offer expertise, customer satisfaction to the highest level and a personalised service. Duncan & Todd offer high quality premises, competitive prices on a range of quality products and a first-class service. I cannot recommend them enough.
Have always found the staff very pleasant, helpful and attentive and my last visit less than a week ago was no different. I've just been told that my new glasses are ready for collection and will be calling in this afternoon to pick them up. Can't ask for more.
They said they'd call me as soon as the glasses came in, but they didn't call or text. I called, and they said the glasses hadn't come in. Next day I called them again, and no-one picked up. They didn't call me back, even though I left a message. Lousy communicators! totally frustrating! I shall go elsewhere next time.
