The staff were warm and welcoming. The consultant, Alison, was professional, polite, patient, very attentive, and determined to get to the bottom of a situation with which she was unfamiliar. She felt follow-up to be important and has booked me in for a further consultation.
The service offered and staff attention to detail was 1st class. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. What particularly impressed me was the way the team members also worked together to ensure a maximised service for the customer.
Shirley at the front desk and Alison the optometrist are absolutely great. They fit me in for an urgent appointment and thank god for that because Alison saw that I had retinal detachment in my right eye, called Ninewells right away, sent me over and I was in the OR 3 hours later. Saved my vision from much damage and I’m very grateful. Thank you guys!!
All the staff were excellent. I was taken for my appointment at the time stated, and the procedures being carried out were all well-explained. Would highly recommend Boots St Andrews.

I arrived early as asked, the place was quiet but soon there were a few other folks came in, the Staff were very responsive and friendly with everyone I had good experience from start to finish and felt at ease when it came to choosing the frames with a good amount of advice from the staff member This was my first visit, after the initial booking in visit a week earlier, and I will use Boots Opticians services in the future

From pre assessment with Alex to optician assessment with Alison service was excellent.
The staff were helpful,clear and concise in their communication.
