My 8yr old daughter Olivia had injured her hip joint and experienced pain over a long period if time, eventually resulting in her needing crutches. Unfortunately I felt that we didn't get anywhere with NHS support, their approach was not hands on, and they did little to help her understand her pain and what was happening in her body. We decided to look around and find someone she could see privately. As soon as I spoke to Bernie and explained Olivia's problem he instantly got it. Having children of his own I could instantly tell he would have a fun, relaxed approach and on our first visit he made an instant connection with my daughter, making her feel comfortable and at ease. Bernie literally went step by step through a planned journey of recovery for Olivia which helped motivate her to do daily exercises, and encouraged her to manage her plain. He took his time with her, and had a really great approach, as well as pushing her to help herself. He got to the root of the problem, where other had not taken the time to, and explained that she was hyper-mobile and her hip joint was rotating out and extending more. He instantly located which muscles and tendons were damaged, and set to work. Now my daughter is back to full health we, as a family, really couldn't thank Bernie enough. I would highly recommend him and his Physio Clinic. He has a relaxed and enthusiastic approach and takes time to explain what he is doing. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him.
