Exceptional service. The ophthalmologist I saw was exceptionally professional. I had a problem with my prescribed glasses and I'd say my situation was tricky but she did a very thorough examination and found out that my old glasses were too strong for me. All staff were super helpful as well. Highly recommended.
Robert is phenomenal!!! As was the lovely Optician who seen me. First class service from the initial telephone call to all my tests and advice on next steps. Cannot be recommended highly enough and a true credit to the Specsavers franchise user of 25+ plus years, undoubtedlyl, hands down one of the best branches I have had the pleasure of dealing with.
As always every staff member on the shop floor is so friendly and helpful. My daughter requires new lenses fairly often and Gordon has been amazing in advising on lenses which have made a huge difference to the overall appearance of the glasses and in finding glasses which fit well. Superb service!
My new glasses have made a difference. I can read without using large fonts on my Kindle.
This place is beyond amazing. I would give them ten stars if I could. The staffs are all very kind and attentive, and their customer service is extraordinary. I went for an eye check and OCT scan, and bought new glasses since my prescription has change. The optician spent a good amount of time explaining every single detail about the test's results and my eye condition, and she gave me many good advice on how to improve it. After receiving the new glasses with new lenses, I came home and realised the frame was sitting a bit too close to my face. I didn't recognise it when trying in store because I was wearing a face mask. I came back to ask for help and they just let me choose a new frame, and it was completely free, including the new lenses for the new frame! That was just amazing. I couldn't be any happier. And through out the whole time, the staffs were really friendly and kind and understanding. Also their 2 for 1 offer is the best!
On a visit to St Andrews a screw came out of my glasses and I asked if they could put it back in. The glasses were about six months ol or so. They practically rebuilt them with new frames as there was more than just a screw loose. This is perhaps the best service I have ever received from any type of shop anywhere in my travels. If I could award six stars I would.
Had to make emergency appointment, was seen next day, and the next so optician could check eye was healing. I'd been given prescription, made difference straight away. Went back for regular eye test following month. First time an optician actually showed I'd been favouring good eye wearing glasses not both as i should. Spent time explaining results and I did same on what treatment I'd had as a child for lazy eye. She's first optician to ask questions since my first visit over 50 years ago to an optician.
Excellent Covid precautions in place. The staff are friendly and helpful. They were very thorough with my eyes checkup and explained everything clearly. Something I was very aware of was not being made to feel uncomfortable when I moved from area to area and they sanitised behind me. Elsewhere I'd felt sort of 'unclean' by staff doing this but at Specsavers there was no such undercurrent. Eye contact and a smile behind the mask made a huge difference. I definitely recommend Specsavers, St Andrews.
Friendly staff. Knowledgeable about their products. No pushy selling. Advised my wife that her eyesight was the same and didn't need new glasses at present.
Friendly staff who are very patient with customers. Covid regulations are in place too, meaning it felt like a safe area.
