Pilgrim Inn

About

With outside seating and a relaxing garden, we're a great pub for summer. Though our roaring fire makes us just as inviting in the winter.

A really lovely place to visit for a pint in Marchwood, offering a welcoming atmosphere and ample parking. Though I haven’t stayed overnight myself, I've heard great feedback from those who have, always a pleasant experience. The food is quite good too, making it an ideal spot for a pub meal. Whether you're a local or just passing through, if you enjoy a relaxed setting with a quality pint and hearty food, it's definitely worth a try. The staff are friendly, and the service is reliable. With its cozy interior and a nice outdoor area, it’s perfect for a casual outing. Highly recommended!
Overnight stay before heading to Southampton Docks and we weren't disappointed. Lovely room, helpful staff. Had a lovely meal in the pub of the evening. Our serving staff were Kerry and Georgia, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Had breakfast on the morning of departure which was more than substantial . Would definitely stay again.
Loved the pilgrims for many years, since i was a little boy i remember coming here with all my family. Now i come here with my Girlfriend for dinner dates to remember the good times we had here. Really nice, fresh food all the time! Lovely in the winter as they have the fire on right next to the restaurant.Service: 5/5
Excellent place to stay with nice rooms and very nice staff that we're both friendly and helpful. Great shower and comfy beds in nicely heated room.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely room, well appointed but shower could have benefited from a "toothbrush" clean. Food delicious, quite s long wait for main course of evening meal.Rooms: 4/5
If you want to eat reheated food from a supermarket this is the place!!! Worst pub food I have ever eaten and I think the staff know it as no one bothered to ask how the food was. We ordered the kebab for starters which was hard as nails. The fish schnitzel was simply fried without any seasoning. The asparagus gnocchi had two strands of overcooked asparagus and the gnocchi was from a packet! I won’t even expand about the dismal burger and steak. It’s cheaper to buy food from a supermarket and cook it at home! Very sad that the food and its standard lets the place down.
Wonderful food , we enjoyed. Pie of the day was steak and Ale and was yummy. Dog friendly and very welcoming. Good menu .Service: 5/5
Really excellent food, although for townies, the portions could have been larger, but that's a very small personal preference and doesn't take away from the quality one iota. Staff were great.Service: 5/5
Very long wait for some poor quality food served up by staff who don’t really care. Such a shame as we used to come here a lot 10 years ago and it was amazing.
Fullers always deliver. Bathroom cleanliness let it down, but thats one pub on one day, not as experienced in other Fullers' rooms. Food good for the price and staff a dream; everyone from reception to severs to cleaners. Clearly a good management team.Rooms: 4/5
