Came here for dinner a few weeks ago before embarking on a cruise the next day. The place was quite crowded, atmosphere was great and food was not bad. You have to order at the counter but service was acceptable.Food: 4/5
It was dead when I went their and the food was not to Berlin standard but I enjoyed it none the less. Quality German lagers had the look of a beer hall. Staff where friendly and I would go back. Certainly better than eating at the premier inn.Food: 4/5
Great place for German beer and sausages. They serve an array of German beer in steins. Extremely happy they also serve an array of 0% especially erdinger. Staff are always friendly attentive and happy to help. If you are in the area and in need of refreshment then I'd highly recommend this place
Visited Stein Garten upon a quick google search for German food in the area. Even though the phone wasn't answered we took our chances and just went down. We instantly were greeted with the super friendly chef who complimented the car we arrived in, he later introduced himself as Sultan. He solely is the reason our experience was excellent. Not only did he take time to speak to us about the food, he also prepared it ofcourse. After our brilliant meal I went up and complimented him on his Goulash, to which he passionately explained how he achieves the flavour. So refreshing to come to establishments were people care for more than the bottom line. We will be back!
Situated in a foodie area towards the older part of Southampton, this place is certainly worth a visit. Great Bavarian feel to the place. Good choice of Bavarian/German beers and food. Very helpful and polite staff!Food: 4/5
I’ve stolen my partners phone so I can leave more feedback on this place. We’ve come back twice since my initial review complimenting the goulash and Sultans amazing customer service. Last time and today we were served by Violetta at the bar who gave us some complimentary shots while providing excellent customer service really making us feel welcome. Too many businesses make you feel alienated in their premises and this really isn’t the case here. Sultan, Violetta and the incredible food genuinely are the reason we keep coming back.
Visited for the first time in June and have just returned today for our 4th meal, friendly service and the food is delicious, decent portions at decent prices. At risk of sounding too old the music is a bit loud at times.Food: 5/5
A great place for a get together with friends. Quality beers and a choice of food available. Easy access and lots of seating. Tv screens are dotted around for sports events. The food is, to me average but, you have choose the right thing. Great for large groups and sports.
Watched euro 2024, Denmark vs Germany game. Friendly staff, my friends asked sample before ordering, they kindly provided, good choice of drinks, and pub food. Great atmosphere with big screens.Food: 5/5
Really good food, excellent homemade curry sauce, but quite surprised and disappointed that they don't do radlers like most German beer halls in the UK. They should also look at taking a leaf out of Munich Cricket Club's book and making the environment more authentic and having things like genuine Mautner condiments available, as well as a wider variety of traditional dishes. There was just something lacking in terms of the atmosphere and authenticity that I've seen really well done at other beer halls in the UK.
