Last August I sold my family home and bought a lovely new house through Dan Smith at PJK . The process was seamless and totally pain free thanks to the amazing staff at PJK. Phillipa, Elke and Andrea showed my house as if it was their own and Deborah in after sales was totally professional while being very mindful a delicate balance. I would highly recommend PJK for both selling and purchasing. Thank you all so much Aileen .

Having rented a property through Philip James in Didsbury I have come to the realisation they do not care about the tenants only the Landlord. I am paying £1350 a month for a property that was never cleaned, wardrobe doors had no runners on and were left in the living room, chest of draws where the bases are missing or doors are hanging off, plug sockets that are away from the wall so danger to my small children, a bath that leaks through to the electric lights below, and bathroom that smells of swererage. I have just been told as i signed the contract i have to accept all these, the thing is i had to sign the contract before i could get the keys so i would never have know about these issues. I did mention about the wardrobe doors when we viewed the property and i was told they would be fixed back on before we moved in but as i never put in writting they have basically given me the two finger salute and said your problem not ours you signed the contract live with it. I have never dealt with a company so rude or uncaring about their tenants. If you have to use them then make sure you spend a good half day with them to do a full inventory before signing anything, not being in my situation where they did the inventory without me and not being able to get be there when it was done through no fault of my own. They will tell you that you have 7 days from moving in to mark up the inventory but that’s too late as you have already signed the contract so the mark up of the inventory is worthless as they will do nothing about it.

I should have listened to my friends in the village - don't use this agent. When things are going well, they're charming. When things aren't so good, they're obnoxious. Avoid.

Would give 0 stars if possible. We were told the whole property would be repainted and carpets cleaned before we moved in. When we got there, there was bare plaster and the carpets hadn't even been vacuum cleaned, never mind washed properly. They lied to our faces! Even though we took photographic evidence of this, they were still adamant that the property had been cleaned. There was mould in the bathrooms, the filter in the cooker hood was literally dripping with grease onto the hob. The whole house was so filthy that we had to ask parents to come help us clean. The window frames are rotting to the extent that one of the windows is loose and the boiler doesn't work half the time. This property has not been looked after by Philip James at all and I really feel for the landlord as he probably has no idea what state his house has been allowed to get into.
